Located in an ancestral home built in 1895 in the heart of Old Sainte-Rose, Restaurant Amato serves authentic Italian cuisine in an intimate setting with warm décor. We are especially proud of our terrace which is known as one of the most beautiful terraces in Laval, or even in Quebec. In addition to feeling amazed in a garden with so many beautiful flowers, the terrace also has a fountain, a gazebo and auxiliary heating. Come enjoy our little corner of paradise!

Third visit to Amato & it's always excellent. The service is wonderful & the food amazing. Love the risotto entrée with truffles. Their pasta & meats are very very good. Very extensive wine list. & the most beautiful terrace in Ste-Rose. Lovely. I highly recommend

C'est avec grand plaisir que je fais une recommandation... c'est de loin... très loin le meilleur restaurant italien où j'ai mangé ! Que dire de la Salade César... wow! préparé à la table & exquise. Les plats principaux tout aussi bons... & le service tellement attentionné... déjà hâte d'y retourner! Bravo...!

Un des proprios nous servait par un mercredi soir pas trop achalandé. Il a été très sympathique & nous a procuré des excellentes suggestions, autant pour le vin que pour les plats. Il a été très à l'écoute de mes goûts avant de nous recommander un excellent vin rouge qui allait merveilleusement bien avec les plats choisis. Tous les plats étaient très bons, bien goûteux.

Have dined at Amato many times. This visit was for a birthday. Service is always top-notch (friendly, knowledgeable & inviting). Food is fresh, well seasoned & some of the best Italian cuisine outside of Italy. The Caesar Salad, made at your table, is probably the best I have eaten. I would highly recommend Amato to your patrons.
Excellente expérience, repas délicieux, service impeccable, excellent vin, ambiance calme & agréable. Le prix est un peu trop élevé & bénéficierait d'être un peu moins cher.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been. The food is amazing, the service is great & they have a great wine selection but what makes this place stand out is the owners. The owners don't just stand in a corner looking at their staff, they are the staff, they will take your order & cater to your every need. I definitely recommend this place & can't wait to go back!
