Reviews describe Aloe Café as a warm, family-run spot with homemade focaccia, fresh ingredients, and authentic Italian flavors that feel like a little slice of Italy in the West Island. The sandwiches, especially the focaccia varieties, are repeatedly praised for being flavorful, generously portioned, and made with quality, with options that suit different diets, including gluten free and vegetarian choices. Coffee is treated seriously and consistently good, with homemade drinks and smooth cappuccinos noted. Guests highlight the friendly, attentive staff and the welcoming atmosphere, often calling it a hidden gem and a place that truly feels like home. The menu also features soups, salads, desserts, and drinks that pair well with the bread, and many reviewers mention value for price and a clean, cozy space with good music. Overall, Aloe Café is seen as reliable, fresh, and worth returning to for quality Italian inspired comfort food.
I don't go out as much anymore because over the years a lot of places have compromised consistent quality- but I have to say that Rubens & his team are an exceptional in 2026. Such a healthy & delicious meal. Thank you guys.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere!! The owner is so welcoming & makes you feel part of the family. Definitely making this place part of my weekly routine!
Great food. Great service. No seed oils.... Homemade & local. I think even the mozza was made in the back. Loved the vibe & had a great meal. Will be back for sure.
Supporting local business is easy when it's run as well as Aloe Cafe is. Great concept, friendly service & delicious food at a reasonable price.
My wife & I split a Sgt Pepper sandwich, which was delicious & fresh from the toasted sourdough to the fresh greens & down to the flavorful chicken breast. The pineapple mint drink was also excellent. There were so many appetizing sandwiches described in the menu that it made it difficult to choose, but we were very happy with our meal.
The service is friendly & accommodating & makes you feel very welcome in a cool, relaxing space with great music playing in the background. It's a nice change from the generic & often over-indulgent lunch options in the West Island.
There are also many products available for sale from well-known health brands, including ATP, Caputo & others.
We would 100% return & try more items from the menu, including their salads & focaccias.
Support local & go to Aloe Cafe... you will not be disappointed!
