Allô mon Coco is a popular brunch destination with large, generous portions and a wide mix of sweet and savory options, from eggs and crepes to fresh juices and strong coffee, all served in a cozy, family friendly setting. The menu delivers variety and quality, with many reviewers highlighting fresh ingredients and flavorful potatoes, and omelettes that are well crafted. Service is frequently described as friendly, efficient, and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the overall impression is positive and value is noted, a few visits mention crowded tables and peak time waits, and in one location a cigarette odor can detract from the experience, yet the place remains a dependable spot for a hearty breakfast or brunch.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL food for good prices. The mimosa tower was delicious, the iced cappuccino is like a coffee milkshake, orange juice fresh squeezed, & our waiter, Constance, was fantastic! Tens across the board.
Excellent brunch! Larger portions than expected, so as a result, we felt it was good value. The servers were very attentive & the food came quite quickly. Coffee is refillable & reasonably priced ($2.50).

Our hotel suggested this for breakfast. We were so happy! A nice, brisk walk to get there. Welcoming staff, huge portions, very good coffee & espresso, large variety of options, & comfortable atmosphere.
I especially liked the peach mimosa. My husband loved the fresh squeezed OJ! Neither of us could finish our meals, but they were so good! Lots of fresh veg on my omlette & the balsamic glaze was perfect. One if the few times I haven't used salt/pepper/sauces to mask the lack of flavour, as everything tasted fresh & not over-cooked.
We'll definitely be back!!!
Thank you so much for a much needed & great way to start our weekend :
Impeccable service, very engaged (eye contact) & able to ask us what we needed, all while knowing she is quite busy but to take those 2 seconds to ask (with a plate in her hand, while seeing another customers) refilling our coffee was very helpful too! & for me, that makes a huge difference in the experience felt & received ! Happy holidays Constance! D'une cliente satisfaite 🎄🎄
Been here several times. Service is marvelous, coffee is outstanding & i genuinely appreciate how their brunch meals are a balance between a treat with their eggs benedict & a healthy starter to the day with their fruit bowls & potatoes.
Also for non-coffee drinkers, the fresh smoothies & fresh orange juice are worth it for a good start to the day or afternoon.

Good-quality brunches with generous portions. I ordered Choco Coco de Luxe which is a sweet crepe with strawberries, which also came with two eggs, potatoes, toast, & sausage. I wished they also had a small dish of fruit.
The regular coffee is refillable, which is great.
The only issue was that the waitress seemed a bit rushed & came by our table a bit too often to ask if we were done with our brunch. Other than that, everything was great-no complaints!
Everything was okay, food & staff were very good. The only problem was their drinks menu, nothing was made from fresh fruit, Frappuccino was made with instant coffee, gross.
4 experiences & each time was worse than before. Worst breakfast ever. The coffee was cold, & the cubed fried potatoes were neither fresh nor properly cooked-they were burnt.

I generally love this brunch place but the one in Plateau. I thought food quality would be same but it was not. I ordered fried chicken waffle with poached eggs. The waffle wasnt good. The potato cubes served with the main dish were not fresh. The coffee wasnt good too. I have been ordering the same dish at Allo mon coco for three years, & I love it but it was the same at this branch. Also seating area wasnt clean & table was wobbly.
Through years, Allô mon coco remains definetly one of my favorites for early morning breakfast. That day I totaly enjoyed the fact that now they offer the Pistachio coffee
Wanted to try a new restaurant for breakfast & found this place had French toast. The service was excellent, staff were friendly, helpful & came around a few times to refill our coffee. The portions are huge!! We had to take some food back with us. Highly recommend & would suggest sharing if you are not a big eater. Found parking easily on the side street.
Very run down & dirty. Would expect better for a location that is downtown, but was disappointed. Also, they charge you for coffee? All the other Allo's have it included in the breakfast plate, that's really odd. Food was just okay. Probably will not be coming here again.

This quickly became our favorite breakfast place while visiting Montreal. The Eggs Benny & the potatoes was my absolute favorite. We really enjoyed their coffee & fruit bowls as well. The servers were friendly & welcoming, even though we did not speak French. We dined here three times on our trip, & would definitely go back when we go again.
The best service at a breakfast spot I've had in a long time & great spot if you don't want to cook breakfast at home. I got served by Donatien & him & his team were all amazing, my coffee & water were never empty & I was drinking a LOT. Only thing that was kind of funny was how the news was on TV & the whole time it was Gaza & political news. I didn't care & thought it was funny but not the first thing I'd put on haha. Don't blame them though it seemed pretty busy/chaotic & the team still did GREAT. I don't usually write reviews but I came here after I ran 30k today & it REALLY hit the spot.
Got a private area to relax. Service was prompt, neat & complete. The smoothie was the best I ever had. Both coffee & water were offered & coffee was warmed up along with milk & sugar during the time I spent. It was really a pleasant experience. If I ever have enough money I may spend a day eating there. As it stood my bill was under $13 for 2 coffees & a good sized, comfortably filling, very nutritious, bubbly creamy smoothie. I would recommend this restaurant up near Concordia University, & the CLSC, & Face à Face, along with a lot of interesting housing. I enjoyed it.
Coffee not included, I had to pay for the coffee !!!! & we need to ask to have refill, they don't come often to see you. Just for that, I probably won't come back. I go twice a week to eat breakfast & I go often to allo mon coco but Brossard. So I ordered the same thing, two eggs & the banana chocolate pancake. When they don't put too much chocolate & you ask more & they tell you ok but with extra !!!!
