Toujours un plaisir d'y aller ou de commander pour une livraison. Le chef & son épouse: des amours! service impeccable. Nous sommes des habitués depuis quelques années. Endroit très familial, calme & accueillant. Une belle place pour prendre le temps, boire un verre (apportez votre vin-bière) & profitez du moment. Qualité des repas: PARFAIT. C'est toujours frais & savoureux. Tout est préparé sur le moment, en tout temps. Notre restaurant familial préféré, depuis des années :) Vous devez essayer quelques sushis spécialités, ils sont délicieux!

Very cozy & the food is delicious & reasonably priced! The hostess & chef are very friendly & warm towards all their guests! It definitely keeps us coming back for the ambiance, kindness & the many delicious dishes they have on their menu!

Tres ordinaire..j'y suis aller pour l'heure du lunch mais n'y retournerais jamais..une forte odeur d'eau de javel dégueulasse..la nourriture correct sans plus..il fait froid & le service est lent..donc je ne le recommende aucunement.

This was my 2nd time eating at this restaurant. The first time I went I found the sushis to be very tasteful but a little small in size compared to many other places I've been to. Our waiter that night was a little rude but I brushed it off & assumed he has having a bad day, which is still not a valid reason because he works with the public & should be nice to everyone regarless of his day. Anyway, at the end of the night, the chef/owner came to talk with us, very nice man who shows a lot of pride in his restaurant, his wife was equally as nice.
Second time I went was last night, the food was just as good, I tried several other sushis & enjoyed them all. The same man was our waiter & again he was rude. One of the friends I was having dinner with told me he had been a previous time & the waiter was extremely rude that night too, practically ripping out the menu out of their hands while they were still ordering food probably because it was later in the evening & about an hour or so to closing time...this is such unacceptable behaviour for a waiter, part of the experience & enjoying a restaurant comes from the service received & sadly the waiter in this place does not have people skills. I dislike leaving negative comments because the owner is extremely nice, the food is good, it's not expensive & it's a bring your own wine BUT that waiter makes me NOT want to go back. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS. WE ARE THE REASON YOU HAVE A JOB IN THIS FINE RESTAURANT.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lively & ever-so-kind chef & owner who recommended the perfect sequence of dishes for our meal. I can honestly say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had - & I have never cared for sushi.
The sushi you'll have here is unlike any other sushi restaurant: unique & full of flavour. Go for the specialty pieces & get the deep fried green tea ice cream - you won't regret it.
The food was excellent, the service was quick & welcoming, & the price was beyond reasonable. I highly recommend Akita whether for a bigger party or a dinner for two. The restaurant is also a bring-your-own-wine, so don't forget your wine!

Je mange régulièrement au Akita avec des collègues & avec mon conjoint. Nous apprécions le service personnalisé du chef/propriétaire ainsi que la qualité, l'originalité & la beauté des sushis. Un vrai travail d'artiste comparable aux meilleurs restaurants de sushis de Montréal & toujours avec des prix super raisonnables.
Mes recommandations pour les sushis sont les suivantes: seven angel, fudji, one night stand, tanoshi.

Décevant comme restaurant, le service n'était pas fameux de plus le restaurant n'était pas très achalandé.
La nourriture est bonne mais les portions sont petite. Personne ne parle français. Je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant à personne.
Ce restaurant a une éthique très discutable.Quand j'ai appellé pour une réservation, ils m'ont demandé si j'avais un coupon (rabais). Après avoir répondu par l'affirmative, ils m'ont dit «plus de places». Bon! ça se peut.Je rappelle un autre jour & c'est le même scénario: «Avez-vous un coupon?". Ma réponse: «Avez-vous de la place?». & un dialogue de sourds s'engage: «Avez-vous un coupon?", «Avez-vous de la place?», «Avez-vous un coupon?", «Avez-vous de la place?». On me met en attente & on me revient en disant qu'ils n'ont plus de places.Rien n'oblige ce restaurant à adopter une stratégie d'incitatifs basée sur les achats groupés. Par conséquent, qu'ils soient responsables & qu'ils honorent leurs engagements.
Came here for a birthday dinner with friends. This restaurant is adorable & cozy. Good service, great food. I was so impressed with its beautifully prepared delicious food. The staff is very polite & attentive. I've eaten at many Japanese & Thai restaurants, & I must admit that Akita was probably one of the best. I'll definitely be back!
