Outstanding experience, from the generous & welcoming owners, to the amazing food had a very lowkey birthday dinner for my mom & we were the only ones in the restaurant but after today I am suprised there isn't more people. Highly recommend & they also cater large groups such as family events! Locals should go check it out!

Tres ordinaire..j'y suis aller pour l'heure du lunch mais n'y retournerais jamais..une forte odeur d'eau de javel dégueulasse..la nourriture correct sans plus..il fait froid & le service est lent..donc je ne le recommende aucunement.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the lively & ever-so-kind chef & owner who recommended the perfect sequence of dishes for our meal. I can honestly say it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had - & I have never cared for sushi.
The sushi you'll have here is unlike any other sushi restaurant: unique & full of flavour. Go for the specialty pieces & get the deep fried green tea ice cream - you won't regret it.
The food was excellent, the service was quick & welcoming, & the price was beyond reasonable. I highly recommend Akita whether for a bigger party or a dinner for two. The restaurant is also a bring-your-own-wine, so don't forget your wine!

Je mange régulièrement au Akita avec des collègues & avec mon conjoint. Nous apprécions le service personnalisé du chef/propriétaire ainsi que la qualité, l'originalité & la beauté des sushis. Un vrai travail d'artiste comparable aux meilleurs restaurants de sushis de Montréal & toujours avec des prix super raisonnables.
Mes recommandations pour les sushis sont les suivantes: seven angel, fudji, one night stand, tanoshi.
Décevant comme restaurant, le service n'était pas fameux de plus le restaurant n'était pas très achalandé.
La nourriture est bonne mais les portions sont petite. Personne ne parle français. Je ne recommanderais pas ce restaurant à personne.

This restaurant is amazing!!! Everyone should visit this restaurant & eat its amazing food. Its service is great! I didn't even have to wait for 5 minutes, & there is already a spot! The owner is very nice, & the staff is also nice. I recommend this restaurant to everybody.
Je suis allé manger au Akita pour la première fois hier & je peux vous dire que ce ne sera pas la dernière fois. Premièrement, le restaurant est merveilleux, spacieux & très bien décoré. La lumière tamisée nous donne une ambiance de détente & très propice pour des soirées en tête à tête ou des soirées entre amis pour discuter. Les plats sont plus qu'abordables, pour la qualité que tu recois il n'y a pas d'autres places qui te donnerait un meilleur prix. Les sushis sont frais & fancy. Le chef nous a bcp impressionné, il est très souriant & est venu nous parler. Il nous a fait découvrir des sushis qu'on a jamais vu avant. Tout était super, du service à l'ambiance & aux plats! Ce qu'on trouve bien aussi c'est qu'il y a une salle pour groupe qui peu être chouette pour les partys. Je vous recommende fortement d'aller essayer!!
I came here yesterday, wednesday Dec 18th. I want to start off by saying the food was delicious & the service was impeccable. The chef introduced himself & spoke to us for a little while. The staff was very kind & friendly. Additionally, the food was delicious. I've been to many sushi restaurants but I must admit this one offered the best price for the quality & freshness of the sushi. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone & I know i'll be back here within a month's time. This is a fairly new restaurant & I am so glad i got to discover it. Thank you for the delicious food & for the great service!
