Most people are very selective these days about the restos we go to, as we all want value for our money. Aikawa is the ideal restaurant if you want wonderful sushi in a beautiful décor, where tables are semi-sectioned off for a more intimate environment (i.e. you can carry on a conversation easily). We're a group of four friends & we all found the service attentive & professional. We are already planning to return for our next get-together!
This is our go-to sushi place on the west island. Always decent quality for the price. I am not going to say it is the best nor are some of the more exotic preparations the tastiest, but it is fresh & not overpriced with pleasant service. The table d'hôte meals are reasonably priced & satisfying.
Great food as always. David was a very professional, friendly server. Restaurant could use a place to hang coats & leave boots & maybe a little more light. We will be back soon. Best sushi in West Island
