Review Summary

Reviews describe Adana Kebab as offering a wood fired aroma and juicy, well seasoned Adana kebab that comes across in generous sandwiches with bold yet balanced flavor, though a few note the bread could be toasted a little more. The setting is clean, simple and decorated with traditional Turkish touches, with the interior feeling brand new, while the location on Jarry Street is tucked among car repair shops and parking can be scarce. Service is repeatedly praised as friendly, efficient and attentive, with staff often described as kind and welcoming to families. The food quality shines through a range of dishes including shish kebab, lamb and chicken skewers, and lahmacun, with many saying the meat is marinated well and cooked to perfection on the wood stove. Some reviewers mention price being slightly above average for sandwiches, but many feel the portions and quality justify it. A few reviews mention packaging issues or bread that was a touch stale in rare cases, but these are outweighed by the overall positive impressions. The overall sense is that Adana Kebab is a standout Turkish option in Montreal, repeatedly recommended and noted for fresh ingredients and generous portions, even if the setting is modest and getting there can be tricky for non locals.

Got the chance to try this Turkish spot, & of course I had to go straight for the Adana Kebab 🇹🇷🔥 - Turkey is famous for it after all.

The moment you walk in, you're hit with that mouth-watering aroma coming from the wood-fire grill 🤤. That alone sets the mood.

📍 Location
It's tucked away on Jarry Street, right in the middle of a bunch of car repair shops. Definitely not a destination spot unless you already work nearby.

🏠 Ambience
The place feels brand new. Clean, simple, & decorated with classic Turkish touches. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

🥙 Food
We ordered the all-dressed Adana Kebab sandwich, & wow - the portion was very generous.
The meat was super juicy, nicely spiced, & cooked perfectly on the wood stove 🔥. The flavor was bold but balanced.
Only small downside: the bread could've been toasted a bit more, & compared to other kebab sandwiches, it felt like it was missing just a tiny extra kick. Still, that wood-fire taste really carries it.

✅ Final take:
Solid Adana kebab, great meat quality, & worth trying if you're nearby - just don't expect easy parking or a scenic location 🚗❌🥙🔥

The packaging was sloppy & leaking, the bread was stale, the salad was mushy, & the meat was way too chew

Their kebabs have got that nostalgic smoky kick which is absolutely amazing, meat are juicy, bread are super fresh & made right in front of you as well. Few negative marks for the portion size & price.

They consistently serve delicious & well-prepared food. Today, we had a fantastic mix of 3 skewers of kebab & crispy lahmacun. They even added a small portion of döner as a treat - everything was perfectly cooked & full of flavor.

The lamb & chicken brochettes are my favorites. The Adana kebab is rich & well-seasoned, & their lavash bread is always fresh. They prepare wraps on the spot, which makes everything taste extra special.

Great food, kind service - highly recommended!

Got to try this Turkish restaurant.

Turkey is known for their Adana Kebab, had to try their sandwich. You can smell the delicious aroma of the wood stove grill.

The place is located on Jarry street between many car repair shops.

The place seem brand new. The interior is a typical restaurant with traditional Turkish decor.

The sandwiches are generous we got the all dressed Adana Kebab sandwich.

The sandwiche is flavorful, very juicy. The bread could have been toasted a bit more. The spices were just right. I would say from other kebab sandwiches a tint of taste was missing. But the meat cooked on wooden stove is just perfect.
