Discover 40 Westt, in Montreal’s West Island. Located Minutes from the airport and in close proximity to the downtown core, our establishment offers the finest CANADIAN Prime beef on the market. We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. Whether you’re looking for the best steak around, fresh shucked oysters, sinful desserts and/or an evening of entertainment, 40 Westt has all of the ingredients for an unforgettable experience.

From the moment we were seated, Rashid exuded professionalism, warmth, & genuine care for our dining experience. His attention to detail was impeccable. He made sure every aspect of our meal was perfect, from recommending dishes tailored to our tastes to ensuring our glasses were never empty. Rashid's knowledge of the menu was impressive-he guided us through the options with enthusiasm & provided thoughtful suggestions that turned out to be spot-on. What truly set Rashid apart was his friendly demeanor & ability to make us feel valued. He was attentive without being intrusive, engaging in pleasant conversation while still respecting our privacy. La présentation de certains plats (linguine au homard) était mieux que d'autres (filet mignon) mais c'était très bon quand même.Service impeccable, mon seul bogue (majeur) est le site internet presque entièrement en anglais.

This restaurant is phenomenal. Service & atmosphere excellent. The food is Amazing.. I had the lamb chops out of this world. When you come, you definitely have to take the chocolate soufflé.!! Definitely will be back.

Outstanding steakhouse in Canada. We took a business partner for a nice dinner, everything will stop notch. I would recommend ordering steaks on the rare side, as mediums came out close to well done.

J'ai organisé un événement au 40 West pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse avec 20 invités, mais l'expérience a été décevante. Le roast beef, offert uniquement les samedis soirs, était indisponible, malgré une réservation faite un mois à l'avance. Personne ne m'avait prévenu, & il aurait été logique de vérifier à l'avance si des invités souhaitaient ce plat pour éviter cette surprise. Ensuite, une erreur sur le plat VIP commandé par mon épouse a fait qu'elle ne l'a jamais reçu. Ajoutez à cela de nombreuses petites maladresses : des à-côtés servis après les plats principaux, parfois froids, & une gestion qui ne semblait pas à la hauteur d'un groupe de 20 personnes, ce qui devrait pourtant être gérable pour un établissement de ce niveau. Quand on dépense autant dans un restaurant réputé, on s'attend à un service plus attentionné, mais ici, les insatisfactions ne semblent pas prises au sérieux

Always been one of my favourite & here again they continue to be the best when it comes to steak & sea food cold platters. What amaze me the most today is the waiter I was lucky to have, Sugeen, he is the first waiter in a real long long time that deserves tips. He was excellent, serve with passion & always smiling.

I went to 40 Westt with my son. Honestly, I remember the steaks were a lot better in the past. We ordered ribeyes with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a serving of shrimp. Steak was average at best, mashed potatoes were clumpy & the shrimp were overcooked. Service was good but the food was not. I am writing this review to warn potential clients that they will likely not get their money's worth.
