Discover 40 Westt, in Montreal’s West Island. Located Minutes from the airport and in close proximity to the downtown core, our establishment offers the finest CANADIAN Prime beef on the market. We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. Whether you’re looking for the best steak around, fresh shucked oysters, sinful desserts and/or an evening of entertainment, 40 Westt has all of the ingredients for an unforgettable experience.

Bleu Room: 80 seats including seats at the bar.
Large free parking lot available at the front and back of resto.
1st Private room with 45 seats equipped with LG Screen, 2 speakers and a microphone. Perfect for conferences, business meetings, or any kind of celebrations.

I was referred to this restaurant by a friend. For me personnally, the restaurant has only a name but I wasn't impressed by the quality & the taste of the food. For an upscale restaurant like that to give iceberg lettuce for a salad is unacceptable. Iceberg lettuce is rank the last nutritious & tasteless among all types of lettuce so for me to have this type of salad in the menu is just ridiculous. It was for my bestie bday. I ordered the lamb racks & she ordered the filet mignon. Her filet mignon was not cooked enough ,eventhough she asked for medium. My lambs were bland they had no spices except for the sauce. The drinks were ok. I orderded a litchi martini it was boff. At the beginning of our sitting , our server was inexistent, Thank God for the manager who saved the day! Because he was really ignoring us, until the end when all his big tables were gone, thats when he started giving us attention. In conclusion, way too costly for the quality , taste & service of this restaurant. I had better service & food in lower stars restaurant. You only really pay for the name that's it. Outstanding! Starters, steaks, & dessert (except the apple pie) were really amazing. We were a party of 15 & the service was impeccable. We all enjoyed the food, atmosphere & service so much. The most uninspired seafood pasta & beef tartare in the most pretentious decor in Montreal served by a reasonably trained waiter at a price point that is two times what it should be for the quality of cuisine. Go there to impress only by the huge bill you are prepared to pay. The Ferraris parked outside do not make up for the mediocrity from the kitchen.View more

I use to come here exclusively for their incredible prime-rib but unfortunately now they only do "roast beef" & only Saturdays. I was offered rare & served well-done... The king crab was pretty good but some legs had a distinct "fishy" taste like it had been sitting in a freezer for a little too long... Cappuccino was amazing.
