Discover 40 Westt, in Montreal’s West Island. Located Minutes from the airport and in close proximity to the downtown core, our establishment offers the finest CANADIAN Prime beef on the market. We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. Whether you’re looking for the best steak around, fresh shucked oysters, sinful desserts and/or an evening of entertainment, 40 Westt has all of the ingredients for an unforgettable experience.

Bleu Room: 80 seats including seats at the bar.
Large free parking lot available at the front and back of resto.
1st Private room with 45 seats equipped with LG Screen, 2 speakers and a microphone. Perfect for conferences, business meetings, or any kind of celebrations.
2nd Private room with 60 seats, ideal for any type of occasion.

J'ai organisé un événement au 40 West pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse avec 20 invités, mais l'expérience a été décevante. Le roast beef, offert uniquement les samedis soirs, était indisponible, malgré une réservation faite un mois à l'avance. Personne ne m'avait prévenu, & il aurait été logique de vérifier à l'avance si des invités souhaitaient ce plat pour éviter cette surprise. Ensuite, une erreur sur le plat VIP commandé par mon épouse a fait qu'elle ne l'a jamais reçu. Ajoutez à cela de nombreuses petites maladresses : des à-côtés servis après les plats principaux, parfois froids, & une gestion qui ne semblait pas à la hauteur d'un groupe de 20 personnes, ce qui devrait pourtant être gérable pour un établissement de ce niveau. Quand on dépense autant dans un restaurant réputé, on s'attend à un service plus attentionné, mais ici, les insatisfactions ne semblent pas prises au sérieux

What amaze me the most today is the waiter I was lucky to have, Sugeen, he is the first waiter in a real long long time that deserves tips. I went to 40 Westt with my son. Honestly, I remember the steaks were a lot better in the past. We ordered ribeyes with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a serving of shrimp. Steak was average at best, mashed potatoes were clumpy & the shrimp were overcooked. Service was good but the food was not. I am writing this review to warn potential clients that they will likely not get their money's worth.View more

Great restaurant on the 40 ouest highway, the steak was perfect, the lobster tail could definitely be better, the grilled spinach was great ! The raspberry gin cocktail was good . The desserts here are for 3 people. 😂 overall great & thank you!View more

Went for lunch - my table, very small for two people - squeezed in between two other tables close enough to hear everything from other tables. Table was moving (because of unequal legs) Cutting meal on a moving table is not the best. - Got our meal which looked like a Michelina frozen dish (chicken parm with noodles) - Cost around 150$ for lunch (no alcohol) - Water tasted really bad & rusty. When finished - i tell the server about the moving table - stating that he should fix it before the other customers arrive - He talked loudly & just said - Well...i didn't see it - didn't see it.... almost mad about my comment - defending his reputation before the restaurant in front of other customers squeezed on each side of us (so everyone heard of course) - How embarrassing but seeing the clientele reminded me that i didn't really give a damn about what these sharks think. If you want to go to a place where people diminish you because you didn't dress well enough for them - go here. If you want to be around insecure people all competing for their little fake image - go here. it's the best place in town to play it fake while being indebted to your financial institution. i would give 5 stars for the ambiance but the judgment coming from servers & clients - I could see i was not at the right place to be welcomed in a real rich authentic Italian ambiance. Getting there is a great challenge as well - longing the 40 west - having to cut through a highway entry while other cars want to cross - just a dangerous & unhospitable location for this type of restaurant. Parking is a go-cart track - lots of Audi / Bmw - vroum vroums - Look at me in my car (I'm special) - Whilst all having the same car Audi rs5 kinda thing. - yeah - super original. -West island at it's best. Well - i said it - never ever again - even if i had a free meal each day for the year mostly because of the prick attitude from everyone attending & working at this location.View more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 40 Westt Steakhouse in Montreal, & it was hands down the best restaurant experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the stunning decor took our breath away-the ambiance is both elegant & welcoming. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every bite was bursting with flavor, & the presentation was impeccable. The drinks were equally outstanding, crafted with precision & care, making each sip a delight. What truly made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Michael, was not only incredibly helpful but also had a great sense of humor, making us laugh throughout the evening. He went above & beyond, even helping with our twins, which made the experience so much more enjoyable for us as a family. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Montreal, 40 Westt Steakhouse is the place to be. I can't recommend it enough!View more

Cetait excellent!! Je crois c'est ce qu'il manque au Quebec,certains restaurant n'est pas a la hauteur lorsqu'il est temps de sortir notre portefeuille. La presentation du service,la qualité des produits servis & le professionnalisme ont été tous mise en place lors de cette soirée👌.N"oublions pas que le stationnement n'est pas un casse tete comparativement a certaines places au centre ville. One of the best steakhouses I've ever been to! The dry aged ribeye was incredible & cooked to perfection. You can't go wrong with any of the side dishes as well. Try the grilled calamari! Fantastic service. Worth the high price for this high end spot.View more
