We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. Whether you’re looking for the best steak around, fresh shucked oysters, sinful desserts and/or an evening of entertainment, 40 Westt has all of the ingredients for an unforgettable experience.

Bleu Room: 80 seats including seats at the bar.
Large free parking lot available at the front and back of resto.
1st Private room with 45 seats equipped with LG Screen, 2 speakers and a microphone. Perfect for conferences, business meetings, or any kind of celebrations.
2nd Private room with 60 seats, ideal for any type of occasion.
The entire restaurant can be reserved on Sundays for a private party for a group of 80 people or more.
2 regular size televisions in the Bleu room to watch the sports games.

The vibe of this place is one of a kind. The impressive facade takes you into the grandeur of European-style architecture in the Steakhouse, which departs from commercial spaces & usual dining places. The food/drink options are fantastic as well. It's a bit pricey, but that is something you will expect for a fine dining experience.

40 Westt is basically the place to go to on the West Island if you want 100% best food best service & beautiful surroundings. I can't get over how perfect their steaks are... Every single time & their chocolate souffle? Forget it. I'm not even a sweets person. But it's a must.
If you're lucky enough to have a man named Anton serve you, this is what makes this place great. 40 West this man is gold we should be able to reserve our service people lol

We had a wonderful dining experience at 40 Westt, a special thanks i to our exceptional waiter, Rashid. From the moment we were seated, Rashid made us feel welcomed & well cared for. He was absolutely amazing-patient, attentive, & incredibly professional throughout our entire meal. He took the time to answer all our questions, offered thoughtful recommendations, & ensured everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. His warm & genuine demeanor truly elevated our experience. Restaurants need more staff like Rashid-he's a true gem. We will definitely be back!
We celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary at 40 West, & everything was absolutely amazing-from the food & service to the ambiance. A special shoutout to our server, Kosta, who was incredibly devoted & attentive throughout the evening. He truly went above & beyond to make the night memorable. Great job all around!
I would have given 5 stars, but I found the service to be a little lacking, considering I expected this to be a higher end restaurant. The hostess did her job but didn't seem at all enthusiastic or very friendly. Our waitress forgot to ask if we wanted coffee with our dessert & didn't offer pepper with the soup or meal.
Despite all this, the service was good in general, the food was fantastic, the wine pairings were superb & the ambiance was very nice, for a lunch crowd.
Consistency an excellent dining experience. Also very accommodating for children. Only comment is they need to up their shrimp cocktail game as they can't compete with rib n reef.
Overpriced & unfortunately not up to expectations. I had to send my steak back more than once, & it still wasn't prepared correctly. On top of that, there were other issues at our table, including mixing up orders for guests with dietary restrictions. While the staff was courteous, the experience as a whole didn't reflect the standard I expected at this price point. I hope this feedback helps the team improve consistency & attention to detail moving forward.

A dear friend introduced me to this incredible restaurant for my birthday, & I've been a regular ever since! The steak is cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, & the entire menu showcases culinary excellence. The service is impeccable, attentive, & warm. The Saturday jazz music adds a delightful, sophisticated vibe, making every visit truly memorable. Highly recommend this gem for a special night out!
