I took some customers with me for dinner here at someone I knows recommendation. It is a really nice place & is very cool because it feels like you are in a historic building when you walk in & not a newer construction building. The food was pretty darn good but the only reason I didn't go 5-star was we had two steaks out of three that were ordered that were not cooked to requested temp. I ordered Medium & I got well-done. They did make it right & cooked me a new steak. The mushroom ragu was very good along with the loaded baked potato. I got the bone out ribeye which was seasoned perfectly just off on the cook. The second steak was cooked perfectly & was very tender & delicious. I would recommend this place for a nice night out & will bring customers back.

Went for lunch in the summer for a meeting & had to bring my baby with me. I told the waiter'i'm so sorry if she cries, hope she doesn't bother anyone around us' & he answered'you don't have to be sorry, she's a baby & it's normal. if anyone says anything, i will take care of it'. He instantly put me at ease & i thanked him. Some restaurants aren't really nice to mothers with babies. The waiter even had a 40 West tattoo on his neck!! talk about loyalty. Based on that experience, 40 West will be my WI lunch spot!
Recently visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, & we were absolutely delighted! The food was exceptional - it's been a long time since we've tasted something this delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy & quiet, perfect for a special occasion. I also want to highlight the service - attentive & discreet. We loved everything & will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food & a pleasant atmosphere!"
My family & I were at 40 Westt for dinner last night. The food was amazing & so was the service! Our server Rashid was very knowledgeable & gave us impeccable service for our night out! Thank you Rashid, we will most definitely be back in your section soon!!!
I was referred to this restaurant by a friend. For me personnally, the restaurant has only a name but I wasn't impressed by the quality & the taste of the food. For an upscale restaurant like that to give iceberg lettuce for a salad is unacceptable. Iceberg lettuce is rank the last nutritious & tasteless among all types of lettuce so for me to have this type of salad in the menu is just ridiculous. It was for my bestie bday. I ordered the lamb racks & she ordered the filet mignon. Her filet mignon was not cooked enough ,eventhough she asked for medium. My lambs were bland they had no spices except for the sauce. The drinks were ok. I orderded a litchi martini it was boff. At the beginning of our sitting , our server was inexistent, Thank God for the manager who saved the day! Because he was really ignoring us, until the end when all his big tables were gone, thats when he started giving us attention. In conclusion, way too costly for the quality , taste & service of this restaurant. I had better service & food in lower stars restaurant. You only really pay for the name that's it. I won't be coming back.
Went for a business lunch with old work colleagues. The lunch table d'hôte is very nicely priced. I had butchers cut steak 🥩 45$ Salad with blue cheese 🥗 Dessert carrot cake was amazing 🍰 🥕 Love this place. Always love it. Lunch special prices was a great surprise ☺️

My first time here. I came with a friend & everything was impeccable. Tomahawk special for 2 was exceptional, atmosphere was amazing & the service, thanks to Ariana, was absolutely perfect. Will be coming back very soon!
Outstanding! Starters, steaks, & dessert (except the apple pie) were really amazing. We were a party of 15 & the service was impeccable. We all enjoyed the food, atmosphere & service so much. Our server Stephen was outstanding & extremely professional. We will all be back, but warn that we may be 30 next time :)
The most uninspired seafood pasta & beef tartare in the most pretentious decor in Montreal served by a reasonably trained waiter at a price point that is two times what it should be for the quality of cuisine. Go there to impress only by the huge bill you are prepared to pay. The Ferraris parked outside do not make up for the mediocrity from the kitchen.
