We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. This is the most exquisite hidden gem in the West Island. The food was divine, the service TOP NOTCH & the atmosphere... is just Wow! One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. The architecture in this place is on another level. So nice to see an exhibition kitchen with so much staff & open concept. My Filet mignon & my friend's cowboy steak was grilled to perfection. This is now my new go to place. What impressed me the most is seeing all these patrons conducting business & at the same time so many personal events going on. A beautiful evening. Thank you.
One of the best steak houses in Montreal. Food quality is at its best, service is always on point .
Amazing live band in the bar lounge section. Our steaks were cooked to perfection & the Chilean sea bass was delicious.
It was the worst experience I ever had. The waiter who served us, was not social at all & the way he treated us, was kind of rude. During our dining he constantly moved the dishes. The quality of food was good but did not worth for the money at all.
We asked for the bear that was served in a wine glass!! If you want some time, to go out with your family, this place is not a good one. Stay away!
Had an awesome experience at 40 Westt, the food was excellent so was the service. I loved how high end the place was & felt. For a full experience be ready to spend 150-200$/ person(tax & tip incl).
We had the pleasure of being served by Rouhid & Joey. These two Amazing gentlemen were funny , made our experience enjoyable & tended to our every need. Very hospitable & professional. We will defiantly be coming back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Institution in the West Island
Visited for lunch a few weeks ago, one of the best places for lunch in the West Island, The octopus dish I had is one of the best to date & the braised veal cheeks were absolutely amazing.

I visited 40westt late friday evening. The food was amazing & the live band was sensational, bringing a warm atmosphere. Chris at the bar was very welcoming & his fantastic hospitality made sure I had a lovely evening. I will be back for sure!
Très beau restaurant. J'étais présent pour un événement corporatif, nous avons été bien servis & nous avions une section privée à l'arrière. Aucune erreur dans les plats malgré la taille du groupe.

I've always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, which is why I was surprised by my recent experience during an event.
Unfortunately, the reception at the front did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from an establishment with such a strong reputation. The staff on duty appeared disengaged - there was no greeting upon arrival, no inquiry about reservations, & minimal interaction with guests.
At one point, I noticed the front staff chatting & laughing among themselves while guests were entering & leaving, which gave an unprofessional impression. Upon leaving, I also observed staff seated at the front area eating while simultaneously being approached by clients.
For a restaurant of this caliber, the front desk is the first point of contact & plays a key role in setting the tone for the overall experience. A more attentive & polished approach would greatly enhance the guest experience.
That said, aside from this aspect, everything else was excellent & I've otherwise had great experiences here.
This was my second time at 40 Westt & it always has a nice ambiance, super service & consistent quality.
Our waiter Rashid was so friendly, impeccable & attentive. Our group was 6 people, we shared 6 appetizers. One of them was'Oyster Rockefeller'with 4 cooked oysters in one dish. Rashid was considerate to give us 6 in one dish. His service was making the whole experience even better.
The food was consistent in quality. The shrimps & cod were very fresh & the steaks were tender & juicy.
I highly recommend & will definitely be back again.
We had the best experience at the restaurant 40 westt. Excellent service, delicious quality food, amazing atmosphere. Very well deserved priced. Couldn't be better than this. We had the best time with friends at a very big table where waiters Ryan & Matthias served us quietly & efficiently while we were having a blast. Thank you. I look forward to seeing you again soon 😊
Lunchtime $95 cowboy steak ordered medium rare.. arrived medium well so returned it Second was almost Rare... lots of fat & sinew. I just cannot understand how people think this is a good steak.. at any price.
