Amigos offers a lively, welcoming atmosphere with bold Mexican flavors, generous portions, and standout margaritas, making it a popular spot for birthdays, group outings and casual dinners. The menu pleases vegetarians with plenty of options, the service is generally friendly and attentive, and the music and occasional dancers add a festive vibe that many guests love. Dishes like fajitas, chimichangas, tacos and quesadillas are described as flavorful and well prepared, the prices are affordable, and the terrace is a plus, while a few visits note it can get busy and service may be slower during peak hours.
We recently visited 3 Amigos with our family. Despite making a reservation in the morning for dinner, we were given a very unpleasant table near the kitchen/washing area. When we inquired about another table, the staff member dressed in black, who seems to manage the floor, refused to accommodate us. We ultimately accepted the table we were given.
We've visited 3 Amigos quite a few times, but over time, our experiences have sometimes been inconsistent-occasionally the food isn't up to par, & sometimes the service falls short. We've always loved the place, but that day's experience was particularly disappointing. Honestly, we don't think we'll be returning.
Update: I was asked to reach out to them by email. I did. I was told that someone would contact me to discuss the issue. It's been 3 weeks & no one did. I don't recommend anyone to order there. Worst experience.
I ordered takeout. I paid 5$ for extra guacamole & this is what they gave me. The food was burnt. Even if I went to pick it up I gave a generous tip. Coming home to open the box seeing that I was so disappointed. Never again
I recently visited 3 Amigos & really enjoyed the food & the overall vibe - both were great & made for a fun night out.
However, I was quite disappointed with how our server handled the payment process. Up until that point, everything was going smoothly. But when it came to tipping, things took an uncomfortable turn. I had no intention of skipping the tip - I simply wanted to choose a different amount & add it manually, rather than using the preset percentage options.
Instead of respecting that, the server cancelled our transaction & insisted on a minimum 15% tip. He did not allow us to proceed with payment until we complied. Eventually, I ended up paying in cash, at which point he accepted it & let us pay.
I don't believe tipping should ever be forced. It felt like greedy behavior & left a negative impression at the end of an otherwise good experience. Hospitality should never include pressuring guests, especially when they're already willing to tip. I hope management addresses this so others don't have a similar experience
Good Mexican restaurant with cozy ambience!!!Chicken Nachos is a must try,it's my all time favourite. They also give complimentary Nachos & Salsa.Great cocktails available.
I don't know why this place has less then 4 starts? I got a pinna collada & a pollo plate & it was amazing!! One of the best Mexican food I tried in Canada. Amazing! 100% recommend!
I had an amazing experience at 3 Amigos on my birthday! The staff were incredibly welcoming & the service was top-notch from start to finish. They went above & beyond to make my day special - they played the birthday song, sang for me, gave me a fun Mexican hat to wear, & even surprised me with a delicious cheesecake for free! Thank you so much to the whole team. You truly made my day unforgettable. I appreciate the love & hospitality - I love you guys!
A busy restaurant with a cool vibe, but patience is necessary when waiting for a table. While the food had really good flavour, everything came out cold so it made it less enjoyable. Sam was our server & busted his butt serving the masses. The owner & floor manager were definitely not in sync & that left staff & patrons frustrated. It also left a sour taste in our mouths when they seated a party of 7 ahead of our party of 4. When we asked why they were seated ahead of us, the owner said'because they're a party of 7'... we should have left at that point. Lesson learned. Dine at your own risk.
Best Mexican Food We've Had in a Long Time! Please Come to Central Florida! 🌮🍹🌴
We just ate at 3 Amigos while visiting Montréal, & wow-what an unforgettable meal! We had the tostadas & a margarita, & both were absolute perfection. We didn't even plan on having Mexican food, but what a happy accident! The flavors were rich & authentic, the ingredients tasted fresh, & everything was beautifully presented.
That margarita? Smooth, refreshing, & perfectly balanced-not too sweet, not too strong. & the tostadas were loaded with flavor & texture in every bite. Easily one of the best Mexican meals we've had anywhere in North America.
Loved the design & decoration too 🤩🤩
We only wish 3 Amigos had a location in Central Florida-you would be a smash hit down there! The food scene in Orlando/Tampa is growing fast, & there's definitely a huge craving for authentic, quality Mexican food like yours.
We're seriously still thinking about this meal. Please, please expand to Florida-we'll be your first loyal customers! 🌮❤?🌞
