The return of SUGAR SHACK SEASON is just around the corner, which also means it's time for our food fair, Complètement Sucres! The event will take place at Morgan Park on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly outdoor event is perfect for food lovers-especially fans of Quebec's liquid gold: maple syrup.
In a traditional sugar shack atmosphere, we invite you to become a food critic for the day and judge the talent of Hochelaga's chefs by selecting the TOP 3 best bites in the neighbourhood!
On the program:
🍻 Hochelaga Festive Bar (beers, spiked coffees and classic alcoholic drinks)
🍁 Free maple taffy on snow (voluntary contributions will be donated to the Les Pirates Verts food bank)
🪵 Log sawing with the Caravane du Bûcheron
🪓 Axe throwing with Maniax
Come out in large numbers to taste the delicious maple-inspired bites offered by neighbourhood restaurants for $3 each. From this amount, 50 cents per bite sold will be donated to a local community organization.
BIG CHANGE! This year, the public will be the one and only judge! Participating restaurateurs will have the chance to win one of three prizes.
1st prize: $400, 2nd prize: $300, and 3rd prize: $200
