Phillips Bar opens March 27 in downtown Montreal, a refined Japanese pub by Jatoba's team, with teishoku dishes, makis and hand rolls made before guests, plus baby back ribs, chicken thighs and tartares with chicken and salmon skin chips. A sake and wine bar complements a mid-century setting with 80 seats on the main floor, 22-seat bar and private lounges for groups up to 50.
