So far, I've been there twice but I'll go often for sure. Excellent Mexican cuisine with a good balance between traditional & commercial. My favourite is Tacos Gobernador, exquisite flavour & dish presentation. The staff service is awesome with great attention to detail & client satisfaction. Very recommended!

I was supposed to visit this spot a while back, but life (& a power outage) had other plans. Shoutout to the staff though they kept us updated the whole time, so we weren't left hanging. Finally made it here with my partner after hearing all the online hype, & let me just say… it was worth the wait.
The place is super cozy, you can eat inside or enjoy the terrasse like you're in a little foodie vlog. I'm pescatarian, & since shrimp wasn't available, the chef whipped up a vegetarian plate for me (promised me shrimp next time... so basically I have a delicious reason to come back 👀). The apps were on point (no corn, but plenty of tasty options).
My partner, who eats meat, was living his best life. Drinks were amazing too though I did catch myself wishing the glasses were bigger because… hello, hydration! 🍹😂
It feels like a family business, which we love ❤? warm vibes, friendly waiter with great recommendations, & just overall welcoming energy. Bonus: it's right next to a dep, so you can grab a little'after dinner something' if you're still feeling snacky.
Definitely going back. Next round, I'm coming for that shrimp. 🦐🔥
A group of 8 of us went for dinner, drinks & dessert & Tularosa did not disappoint. 👌 The service was amazing, the food & drinks were delicious & the atmosphere was wonderful. The waiter & barmaid were so friendly & genuine. Fantastic authentic restaurant.

J'avais entendu de très bons commentaires de ce resto, entre autre que c'était soi disant meilleur que mon restaurant mexicain préféré alors j'étais curieuse. J'ai vite été déçue. Il n'y a aucune option végétarienne sur le menu. Il faut le demander. & ils n'offrent pas tout en version végé. À peine 2-3 plats. La présence de betteraves donne un goût très discutable aux fajitas. C'est bon des betteraves mais dans un plat mexicain, pas vraiment. La purée d'haricot n'est pas particulièrement savoureuse. Impossible d'ailleurs de se faire servir des quesadillas qui en contiennent (protéine végé, allo?!?). Le personnel est toutefois bien aimable, même si on nous a donné des menus en anglais par défaut… Le Margarita était très bon, ce qui est un point positif ainsi que les nachos servis comme encas gratuit. La salsa verde qui les accompagne est délicieuse. Mais nous n'y retourneront probablement pas. Il m'apparaît évident que la clientèle visée est omnivore, voir carnivore. Dommage.

The Queso fundito as appetizer was the most disgusting thing i ever had:( We ordered taco cochinita pibil & steak fajitas. The meat wasn't fresh on the tacos smelling bad the tortillas are the grocery store one wasn't cooked properly . Steak was chewy. The fajita plate was dirty it had dust on it , service was a little bit slow but it was ok. Never going back.
We showed up early, around 4:30. There were not too many people there yet. We ordered our drinks, appetizer, & food all at once. Drinks were good & served quickly. Guacamole & chips took a while to come out. Guacamole was very tasty but the chips had a lime seasoning that was very sour & overpowering. Steak fajitas were super chewy & bland. The birria tacos were pretty tasty. It was disappointing that the menu online was not the menu we were presented - lots of stuff missing that we wanted to try instead. We asked for a side of rice, but the waiter informed us that they didn't have time to make any today… service wasn't terrible.. I imagine when it's busy it will take even longer to get your food. I had called earlier in the day to make reservations since their website is awful, & nobody ever called me back to confirm.
The place was fantastic. & the service as well. Melanie the server made us feel so welcome. The favours amazing. I am coming back all summer to try rest of menu. Cocktails over the top.

Just had an amazing meal here! The food was really good,super flavorful, fresh, & cooked perfectly. The service was honestly incredible too. Everyone was so friendly & attentive without being overbearing. I definitely recommend trying their cocktails they're really good. Definitely coming back:)

Tula Rosa was the vibe! 🍽?✨ Drinks? 10/10. Food? So good. That fried cheesecake? A moment of silence please... 😮?💨💖 & the music? Had us dancing in our seats. Loved the energy, the flavours, the whole experience. Already planning my next visit!
We've been to Tularosa twice now & it's quickly become our favorite Mexican restaurant in Montreal. As a Mexican-Canadian family, we're pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food, & this place truly delivers. The food is fresh, flavorful, & rooted in authentic Mexican cuisine, with a modern touch & the chef's unique twist.
Service is always friendly &, in our experience, fast. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming. Portions are generous, & prices are fair. Will definitely keep going back!
This spot has grown popular fast, so it's a good idea to book ahead.
