Food & service were very good, as usual. Good, classic Italian food, with a varied & creative menu to suit all tastes. Live music Saturday night is a nice added touch.

We recently visited Trattoria Lanni for the first time a few weeks ago. We'll definitely be back! The food was excellent, the service was attentive & the general ambience was really warm & inviting. Not your "big box" Italian restaurant....It's authentic & delicious. My husband LOVED his seafood linguini. Hoping to make this our neighbourhood favourite.

Excellent Italian food! The best eggplant parmigiana I ever tasted! & the seafood linguini is exceptional 😋 I cannot forget the minestrone & the calf liver that were also very good! The service was also great & Michael is an excellent server.
Chose Trattoria Lanni to meet up half way with some great friends from Ontario. I was hoping Trattoria Lanni would meet the standards of an Italian from the eastend. Well folks not only did it meet the standards it surpassed them by miles. Fantastic food. We will definitely make it one of our regulars. My compliments to the staff.

This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant. I was able to buy a Montepulciano by the glass. I'd never heard of this before. The whole meal was like eating in Italy's Tuscany region. I'd just returned from that area. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

Our 1st time here with Trattoria Lanni but we came before with previous owner Our entrée & main meals were delicious. Such a nice atmosphere on a Saturday evening & even an Italian singer playing music during our dinner.Rare to see & have live performance.but we truly enjoyed our evening. Mr Lanni walked around tables which is equally rare. We highly recommend this Italian food restaurant & surely will return more often. In the 60 years they have been around they have only gotten better. Delicious simplicity & authenticity in the food that is served. Best calamari in the Montreal area & the Involtini di Vitello were tender & well seasoned in a rich mushroom sauce. Want real Italian food like Nonna would make? Head over to Trattoria Lanni.

The service was sadly lacking where the food was good. We sat down & had to wait for menus for 25 minutes then the waitress another 15. This is our second time here we will not return a third. The food is good & that is why we came back. But there are took many "good" Italian restaurants who value their client & deserve to return to. Not this one . Even when it was the end of the meal by the time we received our coffees was ridiculously long. One of our group had his coffee while the other two waited another 15 minutes for theirs.

Amazing food & service!! We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant on our travels a few years ago when we were staying at a nearby hotel & it was so delicious, that I couldn't wait to go back if we ever got the chance. We were traveling from Quebec city to Ottawa recently & decided to plan our route home do that we could have dinner here again & it did not disappoint!! Still as wonderful as I remember. Had the spaghetti & meatballs & you could tell it was made with real authentic Italian sauce. Can't wait to go back!!

Excellent family owned & operated restaurant with genuine italian cuisine. We were greeted by courteous staff, the food was excellent & given we came early on a Sunday had a nice chat with the 81 founder who still works in the kitchen & cooks up delicious pastries.
Pas de table d'hôte....si vous êtes déjà aller manger en Italie....& bien la bouffe de ce resto demeure très en de ça des standards de la bouffe proposée ailleurs a Montréal...dans la petite Italie par exemple. Disons le franchement il n'y as vraiment pas de comparaison a faire. On peut pas dire que la clientèle qui remplit ce resto a craqué ne sont visiblement pas de grand connaisseur.Ce n'était pas fameux dans Hochelaga Maisonneuve & ce l'est encore moins dans Vaudreuil /Dorion.Est-ce que le succès tout de même de ce resto italien serait dû à une pénurie & surtout un manque flagrant de compétition de resto type ITALIAN.

Just the best tomato sauce! Honestly - unbeatable. I don't know another Italian restaurant where a simple spaghetti with meatball, sausage & tomato sauce is SO good. My son agrees. & good service. Mmmmmm good!

We were celebrating my husband's Birthday with friends on a Friday night. We had a great night listening to great music & being in a nice & very friendly Italian Restaurant. All our dishes were delicious, authentic Italian, the pasta was al dented like it should be & the cannolis were to die for. The service was excellent! We will definitely return. I highly recommend this Restaurant!

not too the ITALIAN standard pasta was tasteless & watery piazza was soggy not crispy maybe it was the rapini that were not well dried out
