Trattoria Gio deserves a special mention. The evening that we visited, there was a power outage. But we were adamant about having dinner here on our final night in Montreal & we have zero regrets! Everything we ordered - the pizza & the bolognese pasta - were amazing! The kitchen was running thru some issues due to the power outage but they still were able to accommodate our requests. We were too busy eating to take pictures, & we sure were happy campers with our Trattoria Gio experience!

Pauline was our server! She took over for someone else & made our entire time at the restaurant an incredible experience. She was insanely friendly, & took very good care of us & brought us everything we asked for in such a speedy efficient manner!

Pauline was an exceptional server. She was on top of everything even when it was really busy.
The outdoor seating is perfect for people watching. The pizza was great!

Tareryn was an exceptional waitress, even the second time we went saw us & stopped by our table wishing us well. The music was so good we didn't want to leave the establishment. 10/10 best place to eat

Mid, wife enjoyed herself, however it might have been residual high from there being a ben & jerry's store across the road.

Meatballs were agreed upon unanimously by my wife & I, it was chef boyardee, which is a vibe, which my wife subscribes to.

Sausage penne was mid, lacking heavily in the sausage department.

It's a meal that didn't give us food poisoning.

5/10 definition of meh.

Also, the owner clapping back at these reviews is utter tea time, I'm here for it

I ate here as a solo walk in on a Wednesday evening.

The staff & food were lovely, I had the meaty pasta dish & chocolate tart, all delicious.
Portion sizes are huge! Luckily I am very greedy!

Très bel accueil & très bon service de Yanis. Je suis heureuse d'avoir fait connaître ce restaurant à mon père qui est normalement très sélectif sur les restaurants italien & il a beaucoup aimé la pizza. Merci pour le gâteau d'anniversaire! Au plaisir de vous revoir :)
