Trattoria Bellamore is consistently praised as a cozy, intimate family run Italian spot that feels like a little slice of Italy in Laval. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with tasteful décor, soft lighting, and a romantic setting that suits both special occasions and casual gatherings. The menu features fresh, high quality ingredients and a range of traditional Italian favorites alongside refined specialties, delivering dishes that are flavorful, well presented, and generously portioned. Service is repeatedly described as attentive, knowledgeable, fast, and personable, with staff making guests feel like part of the family. A notable perk is bring your own wine, which many guests appreciate. Dishes like osso bucco, rapini pasta, trippa, and lamb shank come up as standouts, and the overall experience is described as consistent, memorable, and well worth a return visit for the authentic atmosphere and value.
First of all let me start by saying the food was AMAZING !! & it was a bring your own wine so double points for that!. The thing the restaurant needs to work on is their booking process which was a bit too complicate for nothing. You have to state the hour you prefer & then the owner or whoever is responsible sends u back an email to confirm if what you want is available. Normally all the other restaurants you book, you go online & there's a set of hours available. It takes 2 minutes to do instead of their system where you have to wait 24 hours to know if your reservation was accepted. & since they only have 2 sets of hours on the weekend. 6h00 to 8 pm or 8h30pm til 10h30, if you pick the early dinner you will feel rush. The servers were constantly passing by our tables (they were very polite though) & we didnt have much time to enjoy our evening as they asked us to leave on the dot! We had to finish our convos in the car. Anyway, if you want to have a gastronomic italian experience its very good but it is not the place to chill for a long time.
Excellent food, Service was beyond expectations , we had such an enjoyable time at Trattoria Bellamore. Highly recommend, food is Exceptional , tiramisu that took me back to Italy, a hidden jewel in Laval, a MUST visit for everyone.

Dish selection & ingredients were wonderful. Delicious flavours & quality ingredients. & the bonus of it being BYOB is always a fun addition. Perfect lighting & ambiance as well.
I recently dined at Trattoria BellaMore, & I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The food was ok but nothing to write home about, especially considering the exorbitant prices. The antipasto to share was a whopping $120, a price far too steep for what we received. Furthermore, the atmosphere was excessively noisy, making it difficult to enjoy the meal or hold a conversation. Adding to the disappointment, the waiter's demeanor bordered on rudeness, leaving a sour taste in our mouths. My advice? Steer clear of Trattoria BellaMore unless you enjoy overpriced food & a less-than-pleasant dining atmosphere.
I consider myself a foodie. Cooking enthusiast, & had the privilege of eating at many top-rated restaurants around the world. Tonight's dinner at Bellamore blew me away. Tied for best meal of the year! From the homemade gnogghi bursting of flavor, to the veal in a bisque sauce with scallops, to a beef rib melting in my mouth, yet with a crispy exterior... We cleaned the plates with the sliced bread. & byow?! Wow! Mille grazie to Daniel & his chef, we shall be back!
Very friendly & cozy environment, service was fast & efficient, food was excellent, nice presentation, perfect temperature. Unfortunately it was a slow night, so not many customers. This restaurant deserves more attention. They are a rare breed in Laval. Thank you Daniel & Family, it was a great evening!
Like in being in Italy, Daniel & his dad including all the staff are amazing!!!! Great service, food & atmosphere!!! Thank you, Jimmy & friends from Ontario.

Amazing food with a server that truly cares about the customers. Felt very welcomed & appreciated. Would definitely come back. For special occasions or just a night out. Has a regular menu but also a menu that changes every 3 days which keeps it interesting. Honestly we let the server decide what we were going to eat & it did not disappoint at all.
1st time there - great food & service. Met Daniel & his dad (Chef Mike) - authentic Italian food, all made there including bread & desserts. Great family run business.
