Nestled in the heart of Laval’s Sainte-Dorothée, Trattoria Bellamore is a cherished family-run hidden gem (since 2011) where classic italian cooking meets fresh, contemporary flair. Chef Michele and his sons Daniel and Ricardo infuse passion into every plate, curating a fresh, ever-evolving menu built around handmade pastas, exceptional meats, prime seafood and fish, the finest seasonal ingredients, and daily specials that deliver bold, authentic Italian flavors.

Restaurant familial offrant une table tout simplement exquise, distinguée, un menu des plus variés ainsi qu'un service hors pair. Ce restaurant est un trésor caché que je recommande fortement. Qui plus est, BYOW !

The food was OK but not worth the price I was charged. The prosciutto & melon was really cold. The cod was OK but even some of the asparagus on the plate was cold. If I'm paying $50 for fish the all the food better be warm. The atmosphere wasn't the best. The server & chef were talking loudly to each other & swearing. I don't care if they want to talk but because there is no separation from the kitchen to the dining space, you bear everything & it cheapened the experience. Again $100, I expect a refined atmosphere. So the takeaway is the price didn't match the value I was supposed to have. I won't be returning.

Mon mari & moi avons adopté ce petit restaurant intime & mignon. Chaque fois on est super bien recu, Daniel le propriétaire est tellement gentil & généreux de son service. Les plats pour y avoir été à quelques reprises & même avec des amis, ils sont tous excellents. Bon ... les goûts sont différents pour chaque personne, mais je vous assure si vous aimez l'italien. ... c'est la place à découvrir. C'est un apportez votre vin qui très intéressant. Bravo à toute l'équipe Lucy & Daniel

Service was okay, ambiance is nothing great. Prices are ridiculous, though. Entrees are $23-25 & very small portions. Mains are between $40-60. Flavors are good & aromatic but WAY TOO MUCH SALT! The owner, Daniel, is full of himself with his pompous, arrogant, pretentious attitude. His responses to any negative review show you who you're dealing with. Try Trattoria romantica 2 minutes away for a better & more affordable dining experience without the owners ego flooding the dinning area.

Ce restaurant offre de la cuisine italienne traditionnelle de première qualité. J'y suis allé quatre fois & je n'ai jamais été déçu. C'est une perle bien caché à Laval. & le fait de pouvoir apportez notre vin rend l'expérience beaucoup plus abordable.

Après plusieurs visites à ce restaurant, nous sommes à chaque fois comblés! Chacun des plats que j'ai goûté était délicieux. En plus, c'est « apportez votre vin ». Parfait pour un souper en amoureux!
