L'entrée d'Accra n'était qu'une boule de pâte moyennement cuite & la mourue n,était que sur le menu & rien dans les accras. J'ai ensuite pris l'assiette de moules. Désastre. Donc des moules d'une fraîcheur suspecte dans un liquide insipide s'approchant plus de l'eau de vaisselle que d'un plat servis dans resto français. En prime, de solide maux de ventre dans les minutes qui ont suivi le repas. Je vous épargne la suite. Avec les prix qui sont en cours dans les restos québécois ce genre de cuisine devrait être récompenser par votre absence. Merci

The food was very good & it was a beautiful restaurant in the heart of Old Montreal. But our server, Dominic, made the night so special for our entire family. Dominic est un serveur comme il ne s'en fait plus. Il connait son métier & nous fait sentir spécial tout au long de la soirée. First the good, lovely atmosphere & the foie gras was delicious. The wine was also very good (a French savignon blanc) & the dessert was excellent. I had the lemon tartlette, though it turned out to be lemon & cranberry when it arrived?? Unfortunately the experience was marred by some surprisingly lack luster service. First, I stood at the host stand when I entered for almost five minutes with no one there & not a single person acknowledging my presence or that of two other parties that came in after me. When a server eventually came over she pointed me to a table & then walked away. She didn't bring a menu, water, a greeting... nothing for another 5 minutes while she walked past my table four times. The restaurant was not even half full & I counted four staff on the floor. Eventually she took my order, I had the duck confit which was wildly overcooked. I have eaten a LOT of duck confit over the years & this was extremely dark in color almost black in parts, tough & chewy. I didn't even finish it. I can't speak as to why the quality of the duck was so off. Others wrote glowingly about it. As for the service, I totally understand if you're in the weeds-I used to work in service, but she didn't appear to be. She just seemed to not manage her tables well. Given the stellar reviews, perhaps I just came on an off night but it's surprising given its reputation & the price. Probably won't come back given there are so many other places to try... which is a shame. I might still recommend it but with some caveats.Voir plus

The food is very tasty. We even came back for brunch a second time. I was disappointed with the service for such a place. The first time it was all very long, but we were seated in the hotel lobby, as there were no seats in the main hall & decided that it was related to this. The next day we were already sitting in the main hall behind the bar, but we waited 50 minutes for the dishes. If it wasn't for the service, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. & on the second day, the avocado toast was not great.Voir plus
