J'ai seulement pris un verre de vin blanc & le serveur qui est très gentil m'a fait goûter a 2 sortes de vin blanc pour savoir lequel j'aimais le plus. C'est la 1ere fois que je vois cela. Super place , propre , belle ambiance même pour un vendredi après-midi .

Ma dernière visite au Tabac Villeray a été très décevante. Les frites étaient beaucoup trop cuites. Nous l'avons signalé au serveur (Allan), qui nous a répondu : « Elles sont bonnes, vous allez voir. » Après y avoir goûté, elles étaient effectivement immangeables. Malgré une deuxième remarque, elles n'ont pas été remplacées, nous ont été facturées & nous n'avons reçu aucune excuse.

En plus, le pain focaccia était collé à son papier & il y avait un morceau de betterave pourrie dans la truite fumée. Pris séparément, ces détails seraient passés, mais l'absence totale de réaction face aux frites a rendu l'expérience très décevante. Dommage

Thoroughly enjoyable experience, 10/10 would recommend!

The inside is pretty & inviting, but there are also two terasses - one in the front & one in the back. Eating outdoors in the summer in Montreal is the way to go & the back terasse was especially nice with the added privacy.

The food was great, no notes. We especially enjoyed the chicken burger, the salmon tartare, the oysters & the fried pickles.

A special thanks to our server Dominic who was warm & attentive.

This specific spot is amazing because it presents a wide array of selections for all. No matter what you like, you can find an option that matches your style well. The mood here is always cheerful, friendly, & relaxed. The help is incredibly quick & reliable. I am completely sure I will return soon to discover more of the area.

came here the other day with a friend of mine & js gotta say that the food was great but the service isnt the best.. however, i think the food was really good & it was a pretty cozy place to be
