Display Allcafe(68) croissant(34) patisserie(21) coffee(20) lee's(19) pastries(18) decor(17) bakery(15) latte(15)I did not try the pastries, but they looked delicious, however I ordered an iced latte & each cost 9.3$?! I found that is VERY expensive. The latte itself was good but it is probably not worth the 9 bucks.View more
Iced Chai latte was one of the worst. 99.9% milk.View more
8$ iced chai latte that was basically just milk & croissant pastry that tasted a week oldView more
This place is not good. Don't fall for the trap of their window pastries-they look better than they taste. The only good thing about it is the ghost of the place it used to be. Order a London Fog or a Matcha Latte & you'll get coloured milk. They shouldn't call it Sweet Lee's, they should call it Stale Lee'sView more
What an amazing place. Love the atmosphere & Decor. Love the staff. I had the « BeneSweet » & it was an amazing display with a large Rockette salad, PLENTY of delicious fresh fruit. The Cafe Americano is excellent; just perfect. The caffe Latte is also excellent. Just one little thing: The savory scones were a little below par. a little too crumbly & the delicious stuffing was extremely sparse.View more
They are charging 14$ for pistachio latte with whipped cream!? Two stars because the staff is lovely & chairs are comfy, but these prices can only be explained by the owner's greed. The food is okay.View more
Un endroit parfait pour siroter un bon latte & une viennoiserie. Ambiance fort intéressante.View more

I love Verdun with its quirky little stores & restaurants. I also love the fact that it is much easier to find parking than in downtown Montreal - even when going to a place located at a prime location such as Sweet Lee's, right across the big church. The food is excellent, although it takes a long time to heat up certain items in their little toaster oven. They also make a really good Matcha Latte which is not easy to find. The atmosphere is urban cosy-chic, altogether a very pleasant experience.View more

As of March 2024, absolutely heartbroken about what has happened to this place. For as long as they had been in Verdun, Sweet Lees was my go-to place in a neighborhood with tons of option for both coffee & baked goods. They were simply the best. I was crushed to find out when dropping by yesterday that it suddenly looked like a completely different business, now almost all seating & with the food counter a tiny fraction of the size it used to be, with their inventory naturally cut down just as drastically. Despite how upset I was about it, I still tried to give them a chance & check whether the quality of the food & drinks were still the same. Unfortunately, again, instead of being reassured I had to face the reality that I would have to completely grieve what Sweet Lees used to be. Matcha latté ordered to drink on the spot arrived at a tepid temperature already too barely over room temperature to be enjoyable to drink, let alone sit down & enjoy at a leisure pace. Considering how much they sacrificed to get more seating space, it's strange how this gave the message that they wanted me to hurry up drinking & just get out of there. Also ordered a little cup of maple syrup trifle. Custard was incredibly stodgy, which is sort of an issue when it is the main component of the dessert. I never though there would be a day I would leave a negative review about this place. To be fair, I also never thought that Sweet Lees would one day be run by people who'd decide they'd rather be a middling coffee shop with fancy furniture than a fantastic rustic bakery. If anyone needs me, I'll be busy mourning for a while.View more
Just stopped in for a Chi tea latte. The food on display looked good so we decided to have a quick luncheon. Had to go back to the counter for refills...otherwise it's a great place.View more
This place used to be good, nothing seems fresh anymore. They used to make a real chai latte, now its syrup. Quality has gone out the window.View more
Had a lovely time here. The atmosphere was cozy & the lattes were delicious & reasonably priced.View more
