Traditional home make bagel. Family business with freshly make hot bagel
The service is always rough but the bagels are the best. Always ask for the fresh bagels & always ask for freezer bags & always double check the order. They mess up all the time. Cash only too.
The best bagels I've ever had! I bought 6 sesame seed bagels & they were as fresh as could be.. hot & soft
What can I say about this place-wow! The bagels are hand rolled & finished in a a wood fired oven. They were the most delicious bagels I have experienced. The staff were very knowledgeable & friendly. Please check them out.
Better than Fairmont. Also 24 hour service is definitely a plus. Idk who would want bagels at 3 am but I like that I have the option.
The best bagels in the world! Nothing like eating one fresh & hot right away!
A legendary bagel shop in Montreal, renowned for its hand-rolled, wood-fired bagels. Offers bagels with a perfect balance of chewiness & crispness, available in classic flavors like sesame, poppy, & everything. Definitely, a favorite for both locals & tourists. The shop's warm, inviting atmosphere & the sight of fresh bagels being made on-site make for a delightful visit. For an authentic Montreal bagel experience, St-Viateur Bagel is unparalleled.
Les meilleurs bagel au monde! Rien ne se compare aux bagels tous chauds sortis du four!
There was a small line up but it goes pretty quick. For Montreal bagels lovers, this is a favourite, the bagels tasted good & firm as they're supposed to be. The store front is small & can get crowded especially at busy hours, however the service is excellent & they keep it moving along. I wish I was here when I did love bagels but not so much now. Still compared to bagels you get from grocery stores, these bagels are definitely way above in quality.
Nothing special about the bagels. Tried both places. They don't make sandwiches.
I've heard the hype surrounding St-Viateur bagels for years & although it was good, I can unfortunately say that I've had better. I'll start with the good things though, for instance the menu variety. I would recommend the Sesame Bagel without a doubt, easily the most reliable option & in my opinion a must-have. I've tried most of the flavors on the menu & another one that stood out was the Maple Apple. At the end of the day, there is enough variety to please everyone's preference. I would also consider this place as on option for large groups not only due to the menu variety but also for the cost-effective pricing. Taste-wise, for me, it did not live up to the hype. The overall quality was just okay: the taste was good but nothing more; the portion was quite small (big hole) & the texture was mediocre. For info, there was neither room for dine-in nor an outdoor area/terrace. Also, they only accept cash as a payment method. I reiterate that it was GOOD overall, however I expected GREAT considering the hype.
The must try would be Sesame Seeds with Avocado. & All dressed.. the line was crazy. But the bagels were good.
We always go here for our bagels when in Montreal. We went early in the morning on a weekend day (around 8am). We got a dozen bagels expecting them to be fresh, but the batch we got was cold. Bagels were soft, so not day-olds, but they were also not recently made. Warm, fresh bagels are the best! We gave one less star because they were not freshly made.
J adore aller à cet endroit, c est rapide malgré la file. Ce sont les baguels frais & chaud qui sont meilleurs qu ailleurs...près du mont royal!
Why you accept only cash? I could not do my purchase & left the store.
Délicieux pains à bagels, attention n'acceptent que le cash Il n'est pas vraiment possible de manger sur place mais il est possible de manger son Bagel dans le café d'à côté
