I hadn't had shawarma in a long time, so when a dear friend of mine recommended a place she loved in Laval, I couldn't wait to try it out. We visited the Côte-des-Neiges branch together, & I was impressed. The woman at the cashier was warm & welcoming, & the staff member who prepared our meals was equally kind.
I ordered a mixed shawarma plate, while my friend opted for the chicken shawarma plate. Each dish came with hummus, garlic sauce, a choice of salad, diced potatoes, & a delicious rice that I absolutely loved. The meal was only about $20, which I found very reasonable.
The shawarma sandwiches also looked appetizing, & I was particularly intrigued by the Sujuk sausage, which I've heard great things about. They even have a tasty pistachio ma'moul that I want to try next time.
Overall, the place was cozy & clean, & I highly recommend trying the shawarma here. It reminded me so much of the ones back home!❤?

I was referred by true Lebanese / Syrian family members saying that SHAWARMA MOODS was the only place that makes soujouk shawarma …. Well guess what , the next day I had to try it for myself . VERDICT: This was by far the best SOUJOUK SHAWARMA I had in Montreal ! Flavourful,savoury,generous on the meat, but the combination of everything makes it so perfect. 5/5 well deserved .
