Sésame offers a concept unique in its kind: an out of the ordinary variety of high quality Asian dishes to enjoy in a warm atmosphere.
From the Pad Thai to the General Tao poutine, or one of the various wok sautées, you can eat your meal on site or take it to go.
Additionally, Sésame offers a wide selection of loose teas, several privately imported wines, beers on tap, a wide selection of sake, but especially, a menu of exclusive Sésame cocktails.
Reviews consistently highlight Sésame for its warm ambiance, attentive service, and a diverse menu of flavorful dishes. The overall impression is of a reliable and enjoyable dining experience with generous portions, appealing presentation, and a lively atmosphere that suits both small dinners and larger gatherings. Dishes like General Tao and wonton soup come up frequently in positive notes, while vegan options and cocktails are also praised; a few mentions note dishes that are very spicy or served slightly cooler, and service can be slower during peak hours. Taken together, these reviews present Sésame as a favorite spot with solid food and a welcoming vibe that keeps guests returning.
Excellent service & meal. I have celiac disease & they were able to offer a gluten free meal that was delicious (cari rouge). It was my first time but definitely not my last.
Thought the prices were high for what we got. Entrées were hunan won tons (peanut butter dumplings) with chicken pan-fried dumplings. The won tons were very aeromatic & did not go woth the peanut butter sauce, whereas the chicken dumplings were plainer, so the sauces should have been switched. Pad thai was okay, a lot of bean sprouts. General tao chicken plate had 6 pieces of chicken, rice wasn't "sticky" & fresh, vegetables were frozen vegetables from a bag. Was okay, but will not go again. Also, they played weird video game music with random horn beats that made us feel like we were hallucinating.
