Went to Scores St-Jean with a group of about 16 people for a celebration. Overall, the food & atmosphere were decent & we had a good time.

That said, the service left a bit of a bad impression at the end. After we had already paid, the server came back to comment on tipping, mentioning that people give 15% for good service. Most of our group had already tipped that percentage, & in my case I had also covered an extra cost (a full cake for the table), so I chose to tip a bit less.

Being approached after payment to be told what percentage is'expected' felt uncomfortable & unnecessary. Tipping should reflect each person's experience & situation, not pressure after the fact.

I understand service staff rely on tips, but this approach didn't sit right.

Brochette de poulet arrivé en 1 minutes, riz pas mangable, poulet très ordinaire. Première fois que je suis servis de cette manière dans ce restaurant. J'ai toujours apprécié mon expérience jusqu'à ce soir! Prochain coup on va réviser nos choix, mal de ventre après le souper, très ordinaire.

J'ai commandé une côte levée entière, je l'ai reçu & il avait un goût de bruler. Lorsque nous l'avons alors dit a la serveuse, & le gérant nous as dit que c'était normal & que parfois elle sorte un peu bruler… Aucun rabais, rien. Pour 31,95$ + taxes c'est très décevant
