I've been to Sawadika several times in the past. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere & decor & the bring your wine formula is great! This time I went for dinner with 2 of my cousins. As usual the food is quite good with a nice selection of dishes.
I just feel that the service could be better. We ordered soups, appetizers & mains. & everything was brought to us at the same time! They placed everything we ordered on the table simultaneously. We would have really prefer they brought them spaced out to be able to enjoy the food in a more relaxed way then feeling so rushed to eat so the food doesn't get cold. It all feels very rushed making the experience less pleasant. With that being said the food is very tasty. I would go back but ask them to space out the service.

This place is one of our favorites! We love bringing friends & family who have never been before because they love it & then refer it to others.

It's Thai/Asian fusion I'd say.. I think.. anyway- ITS AMAZING! Everything is so so good & fresh & you don't ever leave there feeling like crap!

The best part? There's an all you can eat menu for a very decent price & it's BRING YOUR OWN WINE! Need I say more?

The peanut butter dumplings are to die for as is the sesame beef - must orders! For dessert, the green tea & or mango ice creams are delicious!

How it works is you open the menu on your phone & they give you a pencil & paper & you write down your options like at Kanda. They keep bringing the food in waves. Service is usually good but can be slow depending the day.

There are options for everyone! They can take big groups or small, they have buckets for the wine & the seating is quite comfortable! It can be loud during the weekend especially near the holidays but usually we have no problem hearing each-other talk.

Parking isn't always easy! Especially in the winter because it's a shared parking with other restaurants & bars & it's not that big. You can find parking on the street or behind the building.

Try this place, you will definitely not regret it!

Awesome & delicious food! Great calm & dynamic atmosphere with classic music. For 40$ per person you get the "All you can eat" option which is worth all our money & you can BYOW (Bring Your Own Wine)! The "all you can eat" option has some exclusions from the main menu therefore some options will be additionally charged. Make sure you eat everything or else you will end- up paying for the remaining food left but the food is so delicious that there is a good chance you'll eat everything even if your full! The only downfalls are the following facts: - Some tables are placed near entrance path therefore people will be walking & passing next to your food, which can make things a little uncomfortable. - When you enter the restaurant you can smell from the first floor a small odor from the sewer water coming from the bathroom (which is located in the basement) Besides that everything was great! Staff is polite & the food service is pretty quick. They offer Jasmine &/or Green hot tea even if not shown on the menu as an option. Great place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or other life celebrations. Make sure you reserve first before arriving. If you reserve online (which is user friendly) make sure that when they call you back for the confirmation that they have the right date /the right time to avoid misunderstandings (keep & bring your email confirmation approval with you just in case) & make sure you read the cancelation policy! Bottom line my fiancé & I enjoyed our experience so much that we are definitely considering coming back!

As a first time experience, Sawadika was an enjoyable experience for us.The menu features a wide range of dishes, each bursting with vibrant flavors. We were very impressed with the Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Green curry & many more. Our waiter was also attentive & friendly. Dishes were served promptly & this made for an enjoyable dining experience. Sawadika impressed us with its delectable cuisine, inviting ambiance & of course..bring your own wine. We'll definitely be coming back.

The ambiance is nice! The food was fresh! Service was fast! You can bring your own wine. Calamari was super good! The rest were as expected! In general it's a good option to taste different dishes if you are a fan of Thai food!

So this place is a solid average (Thai & Sichuan) & overall offers good quality tasting fresh food. The atmosphere is "unique" but fun & overall service was good. So why the 4 star? Because I could not make it 3.5 star as theprice & value in terms of selection of dishes & the various types of proteins & selection within each, as well as how it compares to others. On the pros it's being your own wine. Thai & Sichuan. *NOTE: If you can't use your cell phone to order your meal you may have a problem here. Loved the peanut butter dumplings & shrimp, but found shrimp to be small. They do offer red curry dish which was pretty good too. Pineapple chicken was too much breading & chicken was dry. I didn't like the idea that you can't control how much portion like at Matsuno, or La Perle where I can tell the waiter. No dessert included not good as other places do. Some dishes are oddly not included which I've never seen before. The flavours are ok but not distinctive & somewhat watered down too. For more than the average person this place will do the job nicely, it's not my first choice but if I were asked to go there I would not put up a fuss to go again - though I do think it's worth while for most & competitive at $38.00 during the week plus tax & tip. I did find the service staff to not be "customer centric", almost as if you're doing them a favour & also noticed tables with English speaking customers have some oddly weird & somewhat confrontation interactions. Myself being fully bilingual had no issues but would suggest to ownership that there needs to be a structure & framework with the customer service & no matter what, respectful & caring. In this industry one bad review can seriously hurt your business & an angry customer could be your worst nightmare. You can tell that they try to cut some corners to stay competitive but for the most part the food is tasty, presentation is nice, food smells good & texture is fine.

The atmosphere was great. The lights could have been a bit more dim

The food was just enough to have us enjoy multiple dishes with excellent flavours.

Our waiter was the BEST waiter I ever had. He took the time to explain the ordering system, asked if we had any questions regarding dishes. He even went as far as to ask us if we had any allergies. He was absolutely the best...
The fact that it is also bring your own wine makes it even better! 10/10⭐️

We were a big group on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly & the waiter was nice & patient.
The food was fresh & quick to come out.
My only comment would be that all of the food came out at once, it was a bit of an overload. Had we known this we would have put our order in stages (soups then appetizers then mains etc).
Overall a good experience & the bring your own wine is a bonus.

I went with my adult children & their grandparents. We did not take the all you can eat because everyone at the table had to do the same. We each chose a dish & each was excellent.
We brought our own wine & beer.
