Since its opening in 2012, Saint quickly became this trendy funky place where colorful and flavorful sushi is served along with hip-hop music. We are driven by a deep sense of community, respect and love towards everyone who comes to see us.
Saint Sushi is widely praised for ultra fresh fish, inventive, beautifully presented rolls, and a warm, intimate vibe with friendly, attentive service. Reviews celebrate creative signature rolls with playful names, a music friendly atmosphere, and high quality ingredients that make the tasting experience memorable, along with thoughtful menus and well executed sashimi. While the space is described as compact and a few visits mention longer waits during peak times, the overall experience is described as delicious, welcoming, and consistently impressive for sushi lovers in Montreal.
Probably the freshest sushi I've had in a while in Montreal. If you're in the plateau I highly suggest it. It's a small restaurant so not ideal for groups, but for a date or something more intimate would work perfectly.
You can tell they really put an emphasis on quality product & product description being properly communicated to the consumer.
I first visited this location over 10 years ago, so it felt great to come full circle back to this OG sushi spot just before Christmas day. The Christmas Tree sushi is still delicious & didn't disappoint. We had it with shrimp, lobster, salmon, & blue fin tuna as recommended by the waiter. Pro tip: Skip the blue fin tuna in the Christmas Tree sushi-it's not worth the extra cost. If you want tuna, go for it as sashimi instead. We were greeted by a very laid-back host/waiter. & when I say laid-back, I mean really laid-back-maybe a bit too much for given how busy it was. Unfortunately, the service was slow, which is why I'm deducting a star. Overall, the meal was great, but they could definitely improve the service. I will stick to the Westmount/Greene location.
Best sushi place in Montreal, I recommend to order Menu dégustation, it usually contains the best items. If you wish to order other stuff make sure to include sapin de noël & Bob marley. Also the stuff is very friendly, he explained to us which sauce to use for each set of sushi.

Cute place filled with ambient & colorful lights, great service, good price for sushi. I recommend the Bob Marley & Madonna rolls, very yummy. I just didn't like the scallops hosomaki, weird texture. & the music was awesome!!
Just not what I was hoping for out of a sushi restaurant. Host seemed a bit pompous when I walked in 30min after they opened. Behind the bar staff was great but honestly didn't know what they were doing from a. Sushi perspective. The fish didn't taste great, the roll I had was poorly created. Too big diameter, used rice paper, not great flavors, fell apart easy. The sashimi were huge but clearly not that fresh. The environment was louder then preferred rap music. This place felt like it was put there to impress college students, I would not recommend. Also the price was way higher then KYO japonais bar which was my favorite food in Montreal.
