Founded in 1960 by brothers Peppino and Federico Corneli, the restaurant continues to uphold the same authentic recipes passed down through generations. A true family business, it is now proudly run by the new generation — Nicola, Pina, and Alex Corneli, together with Chef Joe Nicodemo. Our homemade pasta, hand-crafted by Nonna Donna, remains the heart and soul of our cuisine. And of course, our pizza baked in an oven imported from Italy delivers that traditional taste we’re famous for.

Jean's impeccable service truly elevated our dining experience. His attentiveness & genuine passion for ensuring guests have a memorable meal did not go unnoticed. It's evident that he takes pride in his role, & his efforts greatly contributed to our enjoyable evening.
I had a wonderful experience at Corneli's, & a big part of that was thanks to Jean. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcome & comfortable. He was friendly & engaging without being overbearing, which made our meal feel personal & relaxed. Jean took the time to explain the menu & offered some great recommendations, which really showed how knowledgeable he was about the food. He checked in on us just the right amount, making sure everything was perfect without interrupting our meal.
The pizza was fantastic-crispy crust, fresh toppings, & perfectly cooked. But honestly, Jean's service really stood out & made the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back to Corneli's, not only for the great food but also for the excellent service. Highly recommend it!
J'ai passé une superbe soirée, très bonne ambiance! La nourriture était délicieuse & le service de ma serveuse Nancy était excellent. Je recommande sans hésiter!
Beau resto très propre, TOUT le personnel très gentil, & notre serveuse Nancy est excellente.Ambiance un peu bruyante quand la musique part, un peu trop forte.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Apollonia, & I must say she provided exceptional service. From the moment I interacted with her, it was clear she was both professional & genuinely attentive to my needs. Her positive attitude & warm, beautiful smile made my experience so much more enjoyable. It's rare to encounter someone who combines such a high level of competence with an equally pleasant demeanor. Apollonia truly went above & beyond, & I left feeling not only satisfied but also uplifted by her kindness. A true asset to the team!
Belle expérience chez Corneli à Laval. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, bien que la musique soit un peu forte à mon goût. Mention spéciale à Nancy, notre serveuse, qui a été attentionnée, courtoise & très sympathique tout au long du repas.
Côté cuisine, les calmars en entrée étaient parfaitement cuits & savoureux. Le spaghetti bolognaise était riche en saveurs, & les polpettes, vraiment succulentes. Pour finir, la crème brûlée avait une belle croûte croustillante & une texture onctueuse.
Went for Valentine's Day & ordered from the preset table d'hôte menu. They were out of focaccia which came complimentary so they brought us rolls instead but we had to ask for it. The service was very good & the staff are efficient. The cavatelli as appetizers were excellent! The mains, however, were disappointing. The risotto & the cod were both flavourless & bland. Corneli are known for their pizzas & pasta dishes & we should have stayed with the staples. I have eaten at the Saint Laurent location & always loved it. I think it was most likely the choices we made. I would go back but keep to their specialties.
I ordered an appetizer of crispy calamari & they did not disappoint. The 2 dipping sauces were a fine compliment to the delicious & generous portion of calamari.
As a main course I had the prosciutto & burrata cheese pizza which was had a perfectly cooked crust & generously garnished quality toppings.
The service was professional, quick & the ambiance was excellent.
Absolutely delicious experience at Corneli Laval! The lamb shank was incredibly tender & full of rich flavors, cooked to perfection. The wood-fired pizza was also a highlight-crispy, fresh, & loaded with quality ingredients. The ambiance was warm & inviting, & the service was friendly & attentive. Definitely a must-visit for authentic Italian food in Laval!
