Le carte est variée & le chef cuisine vraiment très bien. Les cuissons sont parfaites & bien maîtrisées. La salle est chaleureuse. Le service est avenant & sympathique, quoi que de meilleures connaissances en vins seraient bienvenues. Nous avons mangé des huitres (exquises), de la pieuvre grillée (excellente, quoi que la portion ne fut peut-être pas tout à fait assez généreuse). Il n'y avait plus d'entrecôte un samedi soir, ce qui nous a un peu étonnés mais peut-être faut-il faire preuve d'indulgence en cette difficile période post-pandémie. Nous avons finalement opté pour un filet mignon accompagné d'un demi-homard, portion généreuse & à la cuisson parfaite, ainsi qu'une côtelette de porc accompagnée de gnocchi nappés de crème aux pommes & au Calvados. Tout était délicieux. À encourager absolument pour pouvoir profiter encore longtemps de ce chouette - & rare! - resto-bistro à Saint-Donat.
