Restaurant Cornicello comes up as a standout spot for Tunisian cuisine, with many reviews praising homemade bread such as mleoui and chapati, generous portions of couscous and baguette farcie, and dishes that evoke the flavors of Tunisia, all served in a warm, welcoming, family friendly setting. The menu is described as authentic and varied, with the ability to customize fillings inside the popular breads, and the staff repeatedly praised for friendliness and attentive service. Several diners call it a hidden gem and among the best Tunisian options in Montreal, noting fresh, homemade ingredients and a convivial atmosphere that makes it feel like home. Still, there are caveats: a few visits mention slower or inconsistent service, occasional hygiene or ambiance issues, and on select occasions drinks and certain dishes falling short or being less flavorful. Overall, the restaurant offers a flavor forward, convivial Tunisian dining experience with generous portions and a focus on fresh, homemade elements that many reviews regard as outstanding.

There is a lot of smoke inside the restaurant as they cook without proper ventilation. The service was quite slow & full of mistakes. The food wasn't bad, meat is well cooked & portions are generous. Although some of it lacked taste or felt bland but overall okay.
Definitely not the best Tunisian pizza place. Hopefully they match their Laval franchise in quality & service.
A great iftar experience during Ramadan. From the food to the service to the atmosphere. Definitely going back after the month to try their day to day menu.

If you're looking for an authentic Tunisian dining experience, Cornicello is the perfect place. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world of traditional elegance, with beautifully decorated interiors that reflect Tunisia's rich heritage.
The service is impeccable-attentive yet not intrusive. The staff takes the time to explain each dish, making the experience even more special. We started with the Brik à l'oeuf, a crispy & flavorful pastry that was the perfect appetizer. For the main course, the mouloukhia with Lamb was tender, fragrant, & perfectly spiced, while the lentil Chorba had just the right balance of flavors.
The highlight of the meal was the dessert-a delicious Bakalwa paired with a refreshing glass of mint tea. Every bite was a delightful blend of textures & sweetness.
The ambiance, combined with the exquisite food & top-notch service, makes Cornicello a must-visit in Montreal. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this restaurant offers a true taste of Tunisia in an elegant setting. Highly recommended!
