C'était à loccasion de la Fête des Pères que j'ai amené mon mari qui voulait essayer ce bon restaurant Italien que j'avais déjà essayer avec une groupe de femmes il y a quelques mois. On n'était pas deçu car la nourriture était très bien & le service était très bien & assez vite servi aussi. Il faut dire qu'on n'étaient pas nombreux mais le resto est très grand & Il y a une belle atmosphère . Pour $100 avant taxes & service on avait 2 tables d'hôtes plus 2 desserts plus une bouteille de vin. On y rétournera sûrement.
The food was very good though, the caesar salad was a little bland. Needed anchovies. Portions & price good. Service was a little slow. Took a long time to be served after being seated. Needed a 5th menu that never showed up, so 2 people had to share menus. Was offered a water refill that never showed up until much later when the next server offered it again. Nice, friendly service though. We will definitely come back. Nice ambiance, decor etc.
Although the seating on the terrace was beautiful, the service was below par. Our waitress was overextended, perhaps mgmt should consider getting extra staff on weekends. The food was good but not overly hot neither were the lattes.
The greeter did not even acknowledge that we had a reservation. He automatically seated us right beside a rather loud group of 4 without even asking us where we would like to sit, even though the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived at 6. Not a place to go for a nice quiet meal. Other than that disappointment everything was fine, good food & friendly service. We had the cannelloni & veal marsala preceded by Caesar salad & excellent escargot.
Un lunch agréable entre amis. Nous avons été bien recus, la nourriture delicieuse, l'atmosphère conviviale. Notre seul commentaire négatif vient du fait que le bruit de la rue est parfois dérangeant. Nous y reviendrons surement..

Our "local". Food consistently excellent. Hamid is always welcoming, courteous & charming. Unquestionably the best restaurant in Dorval & in the top few on the West Island.

Franchement, nous avons été un peu déçus. Le service était très lent, il y avait beaucoup de monde & seulement un serveur & le patron. Notre panier de pain n'a jamais été rempli une fois vide & mon conjoint a commander une escalope de veau & il a eu une escalope de poulet. Voilà, à part de ça tout était parfait & le patron est toujours très gentil & accueillant.
We went Friday night for a very special family birthday (Fatherinlaw) 92 year's old. Defintely something to celebrate we found the atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, the food was very good, great value for the cost. The reason we gave this restaurant 5 stars was the very charming & wholly gracious reception & service through out the evening, we really felt like famiglia! I told my husband, please book,our 30th wedding anniversay here.... A little unamusing from the outside, but with a wonderful interior terrace, it will be perfect in July ....Thank you to the wonderful staff a Bellisimo, you made our birthday boy feel verry verry special.
Bellissimo was a first visit from us - Italian style food & wine was good, & wine prices a bargain. It seems to be a friendly local scene,, very full & somewhat noisy with the live music on Saturday, Plenty of parking across the street. First impression, a good place to go to for casual Italian food, but you should make reservations, it was packed.
