I made reservation at Bellissimo to celebrate my husband's birthday. Having been highly recommended by a friend who goes there on a regular basis, I was very much looking forward to that evening. The atmosphere, decor & aspect of the restaurant was very nice. However, we were seating at 6:30 p.m. & at 7 p.m. my husband had to get the waitress's attention to be served. The bottle of wine chosen, was no longer available, so had to settle for something else. I cannot hold this lovely lady responsible for the slow service. The restaurant was full, they were only two waiters & I must say only one was experienced. The food was very good, but we had waited long enough even to pay the bill that we decided to have coffee & birthday cake at another establishment.
We were 4 friends who wanted to do a lot of catching up. The restaurant was quite full but we were never rushed. Our waiter was available, but gave us all the time we wanted to order. We all had different meals. My fisof the day from the table d'hôte was absolutely delicious. Grilled trout with lemon, capers & white wine, served with delicious roasted vegetables. I literally ate every morsel on my plate. My friend ordered the chef duo pasta which was also excellent. Both came with lovely house salad with a delicious dressing. Another friend ordered a Caesar salad & pasta primavera, while the fourth had chicken parmigiana with pasta. We all felt our meals were top notch. We had the house wine. Throughout the service was excellent. We highly recommend Belissimo for its service, food & good value.

Le service & la nourriture étaient excellents. Nous avons volontairement demandé un délai entre l'entrée & le repas principal & ceci n'a causé aucun problème. Bel endroit recommandé.

Un lunch entre amies fort apprécié. Terrasse magnifique, accueil & service agréable & courtois. Menu midi-express très élaboré. Le pain différent, style "biscuit", du bonbon. Les champignons bouillants dans la succulante sauce gigi conservent les pâtes chaudes jusqu'à la dernière bouchée &, enfin le vin rosé au verre, Pinot Grigio, sur le menu midi, très frais, c'est du bonheur. On ne se sent pas bousculé, bref on se sent chez soi. Est-ce qu'on y retourne ? Oui, sans hésitation & on recommande également. Merci à toute l'équipe de chez Bellissimo!

We have been to Belissimo on several occasions, for lunch & supper. Never a disappointment. Service is beyond compare thanks to Servio. The flavours in all meals, be it pasts, fish or fowl amazing. The wine selection is very good, prices better then most restaurants. The veal is top notch. Would gladly recommend to all.
