Reviews describe Amritsari Kulcha as a standout for authentic North Indian flavors in Montreal, with the Amritsari Kulcha praised for a crispy exterior, soft interior and generous stuffing served with chole and chutneys, making many feel like they are back in Amritsar. The atmosphere and hospitality are repeatedly highlighted, with welcoming service and a homely vibe that makes guests feel at home. Dishes beyond the kulcha, such as chole bhature, gol gappe, panipuri, jalebi and other snacks, are noted for authentic taste, vibrant spice and visible care in preparation, and several travelers say the meals are among the best Indian food they have had outside India. Value is mentioned as reasonable, and repeat visits are common because the flavors and consistency are described as reliable, even when occasional visits see high demand or delays. Compliments often center on the texture and balance of the kulcha, the savory chole, and the accompaniment drinks, with many calling it the best Amritsari kulcha in Montreal or Canada. A few notes mention the dining area can feel warm and that a couple of dishes may vary, but overall the sentiment is overwhelmingly positive and the place is recommended for anyone craving authentic Punjabi and Indian street food flavors with a touch of nostalgia.
Great customer service on call & in person both. We drove 45 mins just to try their momos. Trust me it was delicious. In fact they have the best momos in town. Will definitely go back
The people who work here were amazing, very helpful, & smiling at all times. Great service, great food. We tried kulcha channa, nutri kulcha & chai & it was excellent!!!

It's a small place with not a great ambiance but the food is great. They have spiritual music in the background , reminded me of Amritsar. The kulcha is amazing. We also tried the malai chaap which was also pretty good. The lassi could be better.
