Came for date night, will come back for date night AND with a group (bday party? please have me!)! This place is incredible, to quickly summarize the service was impeccable, the dishes were awesome (the chef used to work alongside qc legend Daniel Vezina at Laurie Raphaelle before starting his own thing) and the cocktails yum.
Service: Our host explained the menu very clearly, made great recommendations and really knew his wine. The food and drinks came in a timely manner, he checked up on us regularly and was really amicable.
Food: Come for the food! Stay for the other great points. My bf and I are big-time foodies and we loved this place. 47$ for 3 services is a steal (considering everything/quality you're getting) and love that it's very QC oriented, we have great products in our own province! We ordered the doré and the burnt broccoli for apps. The broccoli was divine (can you imagine!) and the doré was in a tataki style, super fresh with great pops of flavour. The main dishes we had were the aged porc/razor clams and the cod/oyster and they too were so good, not sure which was our favourite because they were both serious contenders.For dessert we shared the fresh cheese and the argousier pie. YOU MUST HAVE THE PIE. Overall good portions, was not hungry after at all.
Drinks: Ordered a great IGT red and tried the amermelade spritz cocktail. The cocktail was perfection. If you like aperol spritz's, this is better.
Ambiance/decor: You come here for a fun time. Louder ambiance but don't worry you're not yelling to be heard. Everyone looks like they're having a good time. Decor is great too, I love the plants around and the different textures (counters, wall).
