Update: Started revisiting recently & I'm happy with the service. Went to get a takeout after a long & tiring day. Been a patron of the place whether it's take out or through Uber. But the way I was served on Friday really left a bad taste. The person who was preparing my toppings asked me the flavors I ordered because **the order sticker on their side went missing on the bowl**. I said the 2 flavors. The person reconfirmed, I said yes along with the name of the flavors. A misheard on my end too because I thought the person repeated both correctly. However, when the filets were placed, I called out the inconsistency that there was only 1 flavor with 3 filets which should be 2 flavors with 4 filets. The line cook reconfirmed with my receipt. But the person before started questioning me & looking like I was totally at fault, & exclaimed with "oh my god" in the end just to rub some more salt into the injury. & then they also forgot to give me my drink as well. Enough said, I shouldn't have left a tip in the beginning & I won't be coming back.
Some of the best food in Montreal. I was especially impressed by this short (bengali?) brown man who helped me with my order. Super courteous & probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Had to give five stars just for him. Food was great too though!
I love poulet rouge so much , I've been going for years & honestly this was the worst customer service I've ever received. The workers spoke to my friend & I as if we were children & they looked so impatient, annoyed & were really rude. we were told to sit down & wait for our poutines while the fries get ready & we were sat for only 4 mins when the worker came & very very rudely told us "Girls, we've been calling you for 6 minutes ". I don't know where they think they have the audacity to address us in that tone. We are 20 year old girls & we've never been adresses to this way. We then went to get our food & were given the cold shoulder. The same worker (cashier) went to get a few high school kids that had left some trash behind from outside to tell them to come back in & clean up. This is unbelievable.
Gonna start by saying the food is great but, this keeps happening... Ordered 2 salads, one has normal sauce quantity, the second doesent have enough... I keep having to get extra sauce & I end up paying an extra 2$ for this error. Not cool... please standardize these. We keep fighting over the big sauce & loser keeps eating bland salad ☹️

Great food, great people, we order very often. Only issue is how inconsistent the sauce you get is. We order almost weekly, & every time it's a gamble. Either you get a full cup of sauce, & it's enough for your food, or you get half or less than that amount, & it's not enough. We can't even order extra sauce because if theyre full cups, then it's too much sauce. I may seem like I care too much about this, & trust me, I do.
Ma première Poutine & j’ai beaucoup aimé ! Les portions sont généreuses & c’est très bon ! Parfait pour les grandes faims. Personnel agréable. Je recommande !

Poulet Rouge is one my favourite restaurants in Montreal. I eat here almost every other week because the food is really good & i can’t help myself. It’s halal & healthy too. The service is amazing everytime. Would definitely recommend! 🤩
