Out of 5 times I've been here 2 I actually had good bartenders most of them party with friends rather than do job
Never returning to this dump. They plaster logos of the Montreal Canadiens everywhere but when we went there to watch a game they switched the monitors to a UFC pre-show when the game was in over-time!
I go really often for breakfast with friends, it's really worth it! Huge plates for low prices. I enjoy their drinks and dinner menu at night as well. Cool place in general :) all pay-per-view events are free admission!
Excellent Service with better food. This was the best birthday spot ever.
PJ's is a typical brasserie / sports bar, with walls and ceilings covered in sports memorabilia and giant screen TVs. In fact, it's impossible NOT to be distracted when dining here. This place is particularly popular during sports events. If you're looking for a romantic outing, it's best to avoid it. On the other hand, if you're with a bunch of friends (especially of the male variety), this may just be your place.
Not being a fan of boisterous and crowded places, I only frequent PJ's in tthe morning for breakfast. They offer a very complete choice of favourites at very reasonable prices. The food quality is average, but merely reflects the menu prices. This applies to the lunch and dinner menus as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful, if sometimes distracted themselves. You'll enjoy honest food at a fair price.
Parking is plentiful and free in their lot, and there's even a terrasse for warm, sunny days. This is not a gastronomic outing by any stretch, but a good place to fill your tummy while sparing your wallet and making noise with friends. Oh, and you can have a nice Molson Ex with your breakfast eggs and pancakes!
Not the best in town, but a good restaurant to taste North American food, with a bar / pub ambiance.
They have several giant tV screen to follow your favorite sport.
I was there twice, ambiance is nice, food is OK for the price.
I would go again.
For pub food, you can't go wrong. Greek owners usually mean great meals from the kitchen. Chicken brochettes was very tasty, portion sizes were surprisingly generous, and all ingredients fresh (we did go at peak dinner time). My friends had the pizza and club sandwitch which they both said exceeded their expectations. Think of this as a the Nickles of st,Jacques street.
Service was something that needed work as most of the waitresses had an attitude, taking a long time to take our orders, but i guess if you are a jock there to shout for your team during a hockey game, you should have no problem.
Definetly the go-to place for hearty deli style pub food.
