Our skin carries the customs, roots, and traditions that shape our identity. It is the sparkle of the stars that guided us north, the hidden abundance of our mountains, and the endless blue of the sea that rocked us in childhood.

Piel Canela is more than just a Latin restaurant in Montreal, it’s an invitation to travel through culture and flavor from the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, on vibrant Saint-Denis Street. ASK FOR ANAËL!!!
Best brunch we've had in Montreal! We didn't have a reservation & sat at the bar & had 10/10 service. The staff was so kind & so gorgeous & the food? WHEW! So damn good. Bottomless mimosas for $30?!? Say. Less.

We drank! We laughed! We ate so much.

I had-
THE BENDIOUS FATHERS
'Hash brown' with panko-crusted pork belly & cardamom, chimichurri, chimichurri cream, fried mushrooms, perfect eggs & chicharrón

10/10 excellent portion, SUPER flavorful

He had the chicken sandwich, aka:
QUEBEC CHICKEN CEMITA
Our take on the traditional poblana cemita: Panko-crusted fried chicken sandwich served in a handmade cemita from Carlota's Bakery, topped with chipotle mayo, fresh cheddar cheese, capocollo, watercress, & avocado spread. Served with fries & chipotle mayo.

8/10 - slightly dry but super good homemade bun & aioli!

Overall, sit at the bar. It's the best & ask for the poblano mango situation as a mimosa.

Love the place, great ambience. The bartender Anael makes AMAZING drink & presentation of the cocktails. Emma our server was a sweetheart & gave great recommendations of what to choose. Will definitely be back

Super découverte ! On est venu une première fois, accueillis par Jessie. Le brunch salé : un délice ! Des ingrédients & une cuisine typiquement mexicaine. On a voyagé à travers nos plats. On est revenu une deuxième fois, cette fois-ci accueillis par Anaël & pour goûter les desserts. On ne peut que recommander l'endroit, pour les bons plats, l'ambiance & le service. Il faut ouvrir à Québec !!

C'est notre deuxième fois ici & c'est définitivement mon endroit brunch préféré à montreal! Accueil chaleureux, la personne à la porte a pris soin de nous trouver une place même si cetais très occupé & plein

L'ambiance est superbe avec la musique du dj

Walked in here for a Saturday brunch & were blown away!! Between the food & service by Anaël & Xavier, I couldn't have been happier. outstanding. They were so attentive, friendly, & had so much knowledge on the dishes!! This is a MUST try for when you're exploring Montreal & want something unique & fun. Bravo! We will be back.
