A famous restaurant that does not need my review, but I have to add my comments. Martin Picard iconic spot made famous with a little help from his friend Anthony Bourdain. The restaurant seems to have hit its groove. All the staff are amazing. Sit at the bar to be in the action. Food is exceptional. DUCK IN A CAN?? Yes, you heard thay right! Duck in a can. Who knew that'd it'd be so fancy? The Duck is served with butter, sourdough bread & foie gras & it's definitely one of the most delicious things I've ever had! This is a higher end resto only come if ita a special occasion or you have expendable income. Despite what ordered being the duck in a can I found my boyfriend's cassoulet much better because I loooove beans. There is nothing better than beans & meat.Voir plus

We are frequenters of this amazing little institution. One of the reasons we moved to Montreal was because of the passion you feel in places like this. There are no words for it. The staff here are a family & you can feel the love they have for their work as soon as you step in the door. Sitting at the bar in front of the kitchen is an absolute must ! What a show every time ! 🤩👏🏻 Update: we came again for both our birthdays this February & March & had the best nights of our lives ! I even bought my husband the flannel jacket - it's so gorgeous & smells just like the restaurant. Au Pied du Cochon is the best of the best & I love everyone who works there so much !Voir plus

Exceptional, as always! Mixed Bleu cheese salad, housemade Gnocchi with Lamb Ragu, & Cassoulet were absolutely incredible. Always great service from the entire staff, from the hostess, to Julien & Joao, Chef Michael, Benoit, & the entire kitchen crew. How about a 2010 Chateau Moulin Pey-Labrie! What!?Voir plus

Excellente ambiance & service hors du commun! J'ai rarement vu un restaurant avec autant de personnel. Nous n'avons manqué de rien & tous les employés étaient aux petits soins ! La nourriture est excellente & particulièrement bien apprêtée. Seul petit bémol: toutes les options sont particulièrement gourmandes en termes d'apport en sel ou en gras. J'aurais apprécié une ou deux options moins riches, mais on le sait quand on choisit Le pied de cochon que ça rime avec foie gras & lard! Une expérience à refaire !Voir plus
