Pho Ngon draws broad praise for fast, friendly service and a delicious pho with a flavorful broth, tender beef and plenty of fresh herbs, and generous portions for good value. Reviews describe it as a must visit for pho in Montreal, offering reliable dine-in or takeout and generally authentic, affordable flavors, though some note changes after COVID with smaller portions and a broth that can taste flat or overly concentrated, occasional salty notes, and occasional service or ambience issues, with cash only and parking nearby being common practical considerations.
The food & service is always great. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that they don't take any cards & their ATM is 4$ to use. I would rather tip the servers 5$ then to have to take out money on top to do so. My quick lunch was a walk out & went across the street to eat at another pho soup place, wasn't disappointed at all.
If I could give a zero zero star I would without hesitation. First off I walked in & they looked at me & starting laughing in their language with no customer service skill, RUDE & threw me the menu.
I looked at their kitchen FILTHY DIRTY & food all over the floor. Vegetables thrown on the side not even packaged. I can just imagine how they serve their soups & plates to people.
I wouldn't reccomend this restaurant for pho soup ever! There's other ones around the area which are clean & staff is great!! TRUST ME DO NOT GO HERE!! ThEY ARE NOT HYGIENE & VERY DIRTY RESTAURANT!
(post COVID)
For many good years this restaurant served my favorite phó in Montreal. Like with many other restaurants, they seem to have chosen to decrease the portions instead of raising the prices accordingly, but worst of all their soup is not even good anymore. The broth is now very blend & tastes like it is made from concentrate. & the noodles?... The lowest of the lowest quality.
Been there three times over the past 8 months & sadly.. the quality has not recovered after COVID.
(old review)
Piano covers of the top most romantic hits playing & one of the best pho I've had in the city brought tears to my eyes.

Argent comptant seulement.
