Top poutine in Ahuntsic followed by Chez Ma Tante & Frite Alors. Their fries are the best. However, if you pick up late around closing time I find the sauce is thick & salty from simmering all day. So best to order earlier in the day. They could be more generous with the cheese.

My nephews wanted to go there & it seemed like an insult to pay so much for junk food that costs nothing to produce while being the unhealthiest option possible. On top of that they don't take credit cards or debit & instead they take out even more money from you by making you use their commission-working dodgy ATM at the door that charges you extra fees.

Ça commence à faire longtemps que la Patate Rouge existe. Il y a 35 ans, c'était un Poulet Frit Kentucky. Les Belges vont crier que ce ne sont pas de vraies frites (croustillantes & légère) mais pour ceux qui permettent aux grosses molles brunes de s'appeller frites, ce sont parmi les meilleures.

It's been a long time that La Patate Rouge exist. 35 years ago, it was a PFK. Belgian people will say that this is not what real fries should be (crusty & light) but for those who let the big soft brown fried potatoes be called 'fries', these are nearly the best.
