On va là pour la poutine, le snack & le repas rapide. Le service est bon & rapide pour ce genre de petit restaurant. Mais, on ne va certainement pas là pour l'ambiance, c'est très ordinaire. En gros, Patate Rouge est un excellent casse-croute pour une rapide poutine, un hot dog ou un burger. Ça bouche un coin, c'est bon!

Top poutine in Ahuntsic followed by Chez Ma Tante & Frite Alors. Their fries are the best. However, if you pick up late around closing time I find the sauce is thick & salty from simmering all day. So best to order earlier in the day. They could be more generous with the cheese.

Je viens souvent manger ici, j'habite tout près. D'habitude on me sert ce que je veux avec le sourire (poutine plus de sauce). Toutefois, aujourd'hui c'est une autre histoire. Quand j'ai demandé ma poutine plus de sauce le cuisinier a soupiré pour montrer son désaccord. Quand il me l'a servie il m'a dit avec sarcasme "SOUPE DU JOUR!" pour me narguer & me faire de l'attitude. Quand je lui ai fait remarquer qu'il n'avait aucune raison de me juger, plutôt que s'excuser, il s'obstinait avec un air bête.

En mangeant ma poutine, j'ai compris pourquoi il a dit soupe du jour. J'ai littéralement eu un bol de sauce bouillante.

Pourquoi pour la première fois en 3 ans on me traite ainsi & me sert cette poutine infecte?

Fini La Patate Rouge pour moi.
