Pamika Thai delivers a warm, intimate dining experience with beautiful moody decor and a vibe that invites easy conversation. The menu showcases authentic Thai flavors with balanced spice and standout dishes such as pad thai, red beef curry, khao soi, and mango sticky rice, while cocktails add a creative touch. Service is consistently attentive, with staff guiding guests through the menu whether at the bar or the dining room. The atmosphere combines refined lighting, elegant plating, and a cozy cocoon like feel that suits both dates and gatherings. While pacing can be slower during peak times and some price points are on the higher side, the emphasis on fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a memorable overall experience makes Pamika Thai a standout choice for exploring Thai cuisine in Montreal.
We had a party of 4 reserved at 8:45pm. Upon arrival we were told another party had overstayed so there'd be a delay with seating. By the time we were seated it was about 9:10pm. I'm not sure why the other party wasn't asked to leave…. I saw they had finished eating when we arrived & were just socializing. Appetizers were good; we had the BBK rolls & lemongrass pork. Unfortunately after that, service was painfully slow. We waited at least 30 additional minutes for the mains. To make matters worse, when the meals finally arrived, they were bland. My dish (green curry) had 2 chili peppers marked as the spice level on the menu. There was 0 heat to the dish. It mostly tasted of coconut milk. Chili flakes were provided to us on the table, but why? The spices should be cooked into the food already. The flavor isn't the same adding it in yourself afterwards. Overall, the combination of sluggish service & mediocre food left us frustrated & unsatisfied.

Thai cuisine has always been one of my favorites, & Pamika has definitely satisfied my expectations. The level of spice in their noodles, soups, or salads is just on point. The waiters are also very attentive, the resto has a nice ambience overall. Will definitely return!

Really nice place we tried tonight, with good food & drinks!! Pad thai was good & saucy, so was the khao soi! The cashew nut chicken was okay. The service really tinted our night though… While the guy at the door was very nice, our waitress was rude. No hello, no thank you, not one smile. I also work as a waitress, & even on my bad days I've never acted remotely close to that with my clients. Still a nice restaurant.
If you want authentic Thai food, look no further, this place will definitely exceed your expectations. One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal, handsdown.
