Osmo X Marusan comes across as a stylish, vibrant cafe in downtown Montreal with a lively vibe, strong coffee and a notable lineup of matcha and hojicha lattes, plus creative Japanese inspired sandwiches such as tamago sando and karaage sando and curry bowls; the space and terrace are great for studying or hanging out, and a casual DJ moment adds to the atmosphere, but the place is often crowded and loud with long waits for food at peak times, and some dishes or portions can feel small or uneven while service can be variable, yet the overall experience centers on the ambiance and drinks and many guests say they would return to try new items.
The vibe & drinks are definitely great. I got the tamago sando with smoked salmon & unfortunately there were a few bones in the salmon. There are definitely a lot of better food options at the café but the tamago sando is a bit overhyped especially for the price.
A really pretty cafe tucked away with a super cool vibe inside. Evidently japanese inspired, i loved their hojicha white chocolate latte 🥹 & their food was super tasty! i honestly take curry over the sandwiches but they're both good ! a must visit in montreal

classic cafe. Not per say the most preserved japanese, but they do things well. The cashiers usually aren't so polite, but the baristas focus on making things well. I'll post more pics later.
I recently visited OSMO X MARUSAN Café-Terrasse & had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, particularly the Karaage sandwich. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, with a charming terrace for outdoor dining. The service was excellent, & finding a seat was easy despite the crowd. If you're looking for a good lunch experience in Montreal, this is a great option! ☕
Lovely space & design, it looks like a modern cafeteria & lots of space to study. Though they do limit your time to just 2 hours on their wifi. Would recommend getting their sandwich & doing some work while drinking a coffee. Got the egg sando sandwich which was nice though some sauce would have really given it more flavor.
The cafe has a nice concept. I tried the famous Tamago Egg Sandwich & chicken sandwich & was quite impressed. The rice curry was not bad. I would probably return when visiting Montreal. Would definitely recommend to my friends to try this place out 🩷👍
This place is such a vibe for artistic/creative & hipster people. The decorations, the slight underground/cottage feel tucked away on a somewhat busy street. It's a total vibe. I came on a Thursday afternoon & they had the techno experimental music blasting. I ordered a chai latte with soy & decaf Americano...both were very good. The chai was somewhat local from New York & was well spiced & not so sugary which I like. They have some food options as well like sandwiches & vegan curry. Plenty of seating indoor & outdoor in their terrace & at some picnic tables. 2 hour limit on wifi to keep people from docking. Just such a great, aesthetically pleasing cafe! Only improvement would be for more attentive, patient service.

This cafe was amazing, food was so good! Atmosphere is great for chatting & working. I came to visit from Toronto & I loved it. Will definitely come back again the next time I come back to this city.
This cafe was super unique & amazing. The atmosphere & vibe were through the roof. I'm from Dallas, tx, & we have nice coffee shops, but nothing quite like this. We missed the place twice because from the outside, it looks almost like an abandoned building. They had a D.J. playing some really chill tunes. The iced coffees were fantastic. We didn't order food because we had just eaten, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic. We really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommend 👌

A nice spot with good katsu & cool drinks! It honestly gives a coworking space vibe since it has large cafeteria-like tables where (during the school year) lots of people have laptops & are working/studying. However, the chairs are very uncomfortable & it's so loud there. It gives me mixed signals. Also it's always full lol
Came here for lunch with a friend to catch up. Loved it! The karaage sandwich was delicious!! I loved the mayo spread & marinade. The bread was subtly sweet & soaked up the flavors of the sauce well. I tried a bite of the tamago egg sandwich as well, which had less textures going on (the filling was just egg & mayo) but delicious nonetheless. Atmosphere was great for a little chat, & I stayed after to get some work done too. Lively but not too distracting. I would highly recommend this cafe! @thehungry.sheep

Super cool cafe with tasty drinks & food. Was really impressed by the quality of the sandwiches. Would definitely come back to get these again & try the other items on the menu.
Pretty cute cafe with indoor & outdoor seating We tried the curry katsu which was really good. It was crispy on the outside but super juicy on the inside. We also got the iced chai & ice dirty chai. Couldn't taste much of the chai as the espresso was quite overpowering. The regular chai didn't have a strong chai flavor either, tasted more milky. However, the staff was super kind & fast.
J'ai été impressionné par le décor du café, c'est un peu caché mais ça vaut le détour. J'ai pris un cappuccino vraiment très bon, il y a un bon rapport qualité prix. La nourriture est un peu cher par contre mais à l'air d'être très bonne !! Café filtre classique & très bon également, bref parfait pour chiller, travailler ou encore pour un date ! Je recommande x10
