I never write these reviews (for multiple reasons), but this time it's worth it. Sincere kudos to chef Maude & waiter René-Gilles. The food ranges from delicious to sometimes mind-blowing, the atmosphere are & level of service is top-notch. Overall, a great experience, would highly recommend.
Food is excellent with a nice selection of cheeses & cold cuts on the breakfast buffet. The maple syrup pancakes were delicious! The working staff Robin, Marc ans Ivan were efficient & attentionate. Nice atmosphere, I recommend this place!

Food was delicious & the service exceptional. Anthony was helpful & quick, but we never felt rushed. We ordered the butternut squash ravioli & scallops. Lemon tart for dessert. Mocktails were also good. We'll be coming back to try more of the menu, maybe brunch. Would definitely recommend to others!

Bon restaurant, mais sans plus, une cuisine dite française avec des produits du Québec, c'était bon mais pas incroyable. La lotte n'était pas tendre & les pommes de terres salardaises sèches. Cependant la purée de panais était excellente, je recommande. Nous avons passé un bon moment dans une ambiance calme. Nous n'avons pas pris de vin mais le choix sur la carte était vraiment bien.
J'ai eu assez souvent l'occasion au cours des dernières années de manger au restaurant Osco avec des amis, collègues de travail ou membres de ma famille. Jusqu'à ce jour, l'expérience avait toujours été excessivement satisfaisante, au point où je me permettais régulièrement de recommander votre table. Le brunch du 1er de l'an 2024 a toutefois eu un effet de douche froide! J'avais invité deux amies pour l'occasion. Une déception sans nom... Les salades étaient toutes fadasses, sans assaisonnement caractérisé. On avait l'impression qu'elles avaient été préparées il y a plusieurs jours tant elles étaient insipides. Que dire des pommes de terre salardaises, molles, froides, imbibées de gras... Les oeufs bénédictine? Durs, sans saveur aucune... Ils devaient être servis avec homard? Ni moi ni mes deux invités n'en avons vu trace! & les desserts! Les viennoiseries étaient d'une grande banalité. Je me souviens d'un temps pas si lointain où on pouvait déguster dans vos brunch du jour de l'an de petites pâtisseries très savoureuses (dont des mini-opéras particulièrement réussis). & il y avait toujours une variété de fromages pour terminer le repas. Rien cette année... Aviez-vous donné congé à votre chef? J'étais excessivement mal à l'aise auprès de mes deux amies, d'autant plus que j'avais vanté la qualité de vos brunchs au moment de les inviter. $353 que j'ai déboursé pour cette déception sans nom. Ce brunch, vous excuserez ma franchise, ne valait pas le tiers de cette somme!

Christmas Day dinner for family of four. Everything was superb, the food delicious & the service from waiter David & the maitre'd was first class, as good as any restaurant I've been to. Highly recommended.
Le menu offre une véritable expérience gastronomique française, avec une sélection raffinée de plats emblématiques. Le personnel est attentif & au petit soin. Je recommande.
Good food mainly. Olive portion was very small. Bread delicious. Monkfish portion tiny & slightly over cooked. The fries are not crispy at all, don’t recommend. Otherwise all good.

In Montreal for a conference, with little time to travel to restaurants, so Osco is perfectly located in our hotel saving us from wasting time. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, & it was nice to be greeting in both official languages (my colleague was not bilingual). Highly recommended!
Nous étions 3 à dîner dans ce restaurant. L'ambiance était chaleureuse, le personnel attentionné & le service impeccable. Nous avons choisi la table d'hôte. Les pétoncles étaient délicieux, mais le couscous s'apparentait davantage à du taboulé. Cette déception a été largement compensée par le savoureux Saint-Émilion recommandé par notre serveur. Nous y avons passé un très agréable moment & n'hésiterons pas à y retourner.
Very disappointing experience poor service cold food basically ignored & waited 2 hours for main course with no explanation until we complained. Don't recommend

La salle l'entre deux correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins.
Les canapés & les vins étaient succulents.

Succulent food; courteous & personal service; reasonable prices given current inflation. Would recommend to anyone seeking a great dining experience in Montreal.
Une bonne table avec un menu inventif où vous pouvez choisir & diversifier à volonté vos sauces, légumes & féculents d'accompagnement à vos plats principaux de viande ou poisson , intéressant comme concept .
Pour célébrer le premier de l'an pour un groupe de 7 personnes on nous a gentiment réservé le petit salon circulaire en coin d'édifice avec une vue superbe sur la Place Riopel.
& oui on recommande ....
I had a huge lunch & intended to just have a small salad for dinner, but scallops are my favorite & I couldn't resist. They were absolutely GORGEOUS, along with the orange butter sauce recommended to me by my charming waiter. Food & service were exemplary. Bravo!
