About us
Romanian and Mediterranean menu, along with sushi and Japanese cuisine. Osaka Mioritika invites food lovers to enjoy a traditional Romanian and Japanese meal. Specializing in exotic varieties of nigiri sushi, maki and sashimi prepared with a variety of fishes, seafood, vegetables and spices, Osaka Sushi menu includes a large selection of Japanese dishes. While sushi remains the restaurant's forte, diners can also choose from other Japanese dishes such as beef, chicken or pork teriyaki, General Tao etc. as well as Romanian traditional dishes like sarmale, ciorba de burta, mici, ceafa de porc etc. and Mediterranean well-known dishes. Live music every Saturday and for private dancing parties (up to 90 guests).

Went for a soup (tripe soup, Romanian style). I discovered a sushi restaurant with a Romanian flavor - some call it'fusion'. I don't know about fusion, but I had the BEST sushi i have ever eat (& i eat a lot of it, & not the IGA or Metro ones) & best tripe soup, Romanian style. Nice atmosphere, friendly sushi cooks (you see them) & those in the back making the Romanian food.
Go & try.

C'était MA place à sushi depuis plus de 15 ans. Ce resto était les pionniers de sushis à Laval & était meilleur & plus innovateur que d'autres grandes places à Montréal. J'y emmenais tout le monde que je connaissais, j'y ai fait une fête pour mon anniversaire dans la salle japonaise. Depuis quelques temps les sushis sont peu goûteux, gigantesques & se défont. C'est comme si le coeur n'y est plus en cuisine. Les prix ont augmenté & la qualité des ingrédient a baissé. Je n'y retournerai plus. C'est la fin d'une époque.

They offer japanese & romanian meals. The food was average. The stuff was nice & accommodating.
We went there on an evening when they had a party going on. There was live music & a DJ, romanian & international music. It was a little bit too loud to have a conversation. The atmosphere was great & there was plenty of room to dance.
They don't always have parties, you can ask before going especially on the weekends.
We would go back for another party.

The Japanese food was sub par but it's not bad. The general tao is beyond sweet but for some reason they had it soaked in some sweet sauce. The crispy chicken was soggy & had a green pepper taste. I didn't finish it & if you're never had general Tao you'll be fine. If you know general tao avoid it plenty of great choice. The Romanian food was delicious & miles ahead of the Japanese. Huge issue is tbe ac they have two small units & you'll find yourself outside trying to cool off. The prices were on average 30$ they also have a fixed menu at 70$ but honestly a la carte was more than enough food. The shushi is far from great. If you're going to have shish get anything tempura. The rice was overcooked but again it's not terrible. The party is where it's at. Live music & a DJ. Romanian music & English, Greek, Aramaic music for you to enjoy. Plenty of room to dance. It's bring your own wine so that's great. Overall it was very nice. 7 adults each with a main dish & 70 pieces of sushi & a 4 extras 300$ plue tip. Very affordable & everyone enjoyed the food & ambiance. If you want to try something different it's great. Food & dancing you can't go wrong.

Cliente depuis plus dec15 ans,je dois avouer que mon'miss Laval' à vraiment diminué de grosseur ce soir ainsi que mon dessert sushi dessert. Les prix ont augmenté, Je suis vraiment deçue.je ne sais pas si je vais revenir ...

Good quantity for the price. Didn't taste as good as the last couple of times we had sushi from here. Maybe because it was in restaurant dining & we did take out yesterday. But overall, it's good.

Magnifique! Nous avons décidé de gâter notre fils lors de son anniversaire de 12 ans, vu que les sushis sont son coup de ❤?. On n'a pas eu tort d'y aller à Osaka Sushi. Super bon accueil, on a savouré les plats soigneusement préparés par le chef, sans une ambiance conviviale. On y retourne, c'est sûr!

Great dining experience for four people. The staff & the owners are excellent. We've got two services (actually, I also got the dessert, Osaka fried ice cream). All four of us were very happy with the experience.

Cliente depuis longtemps. C'était les meilleurs sushis. Avec le changement de propriétaire, les sushis ont perdu en fraîcheur & en qualité. Ils goûtent tous la même chose. En plus, les prix ont été considérablement augmentés. Très déçue. Je ne recommande plus.

great hosts, great food, all around excellent service. We held a decently sized party & the service was top notch: from communication during preparations, to ironing out small details it was a pleasure to do business with them.
