Small place, very clean, friendly, & affordable. One of my best taco place in town, the "camarones taco" are the best!! They just take a little long to prepare it ! But that is a plus... it just means that everything is made fresh !
Muy rica la comida cómo siempre, excelente atención, el personal muy atento. Sólo le doy 4 estrellas porque se les terminó el arroz y queríamos platos que lo incluyera.
Malheureusement la cuisine & le bar ferme dès 21h & on se fait mettre à la porte sans aucune gêne. Jamais été traité de la sorte dans un resto à Montréal. Pas possible de commander un autre verre ou de relaxer un peu après le lourd repas plus ou moins savoureux. Bien peu de respect pour le client qui vient dépenser une belle somme dans leur établissement. Dommage, mais on y retourne pas!l
I was born & raised in Mexico & I always try to find Mexican food that is actually good in this city, the first couple of times that I came to this restaurant I left quite satisfied, then I went back to exploring other cuisines that Montreal is famous for, I went back to Mr. Azteca after two years & I gotta say that I am pretty disappointed, came to find that they gave in & now they use the horrible tortillas that you can get here, they leave a strange sour taste in every plate, beer is $7 CAD, the barbacoa has become a ridiculous portion for over 20 dollars, I'm not kidding l.& they don't even have the authentic Mexican rice recipe anymore.
Had an amazing experience at Mr. Azteca! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visited twice during my stay in Montreal, & each time was a flavor-packed delight. The classic margarita & frozen mango margarita? Perfection in a glass! Tried the quesabirria & steak tacos-absolutely delicious. While the service was a bit slow & somewhat unattentive, the overall experience was stellar. The vibrant flavors of the dishes & the memorable margaritas make Mr. Azteca a must-visit spot. Can't wait to return!
