Misoya is described as a small, cozy, family-run spot with fresh, carefully prepared dishes and a strong mix of Korean and Japanese offerings; the sushi, sashimi, salmon poke, Jeyuk, Takoyaki, bibimbap and other plates are highlighted for quality and variety, service is quick and friendly with bilingual staff and reliable takeout, and the atmosphere feels like a homey hidden gem that many say is among the best in Lasalle, though a few reviews note a misstep with fish in bowls or too much lettuce compared to rice and overall prices reflect good value for the portion and quality.
This is one of my favorite restaurants, & I've been there many times, ordered food many times from there. However, on my last visit, the wasabi was fake… Yes, I know, real wasabi costs more than the horseradish-based'wasabi', but it wasn't even a good imitation - it was terrible. Wasabi is central to the experience of sushi for many people. You guys must fix this problem. Finally, you should do better with service. It was no good last time. I know it's hard to be consistent with excellent service, but it's what makes going to a restaurant worth it for people who know how to cook & can have great food at home. & being rude to a repeat customer as soon as they enter your restaurant is something that takes effort - it's absolutely not the way to do it.

Almost don't want to let people know about this gem of a place. Cozy & intimate interior dining. The sushi is amazing. Lots of other options that I'm looking forward to digesting.

A gem of a restaurant. We had takoyaki & Bento box specials . Plenty of food all delicious . Served with a pot of tea. Good prices, excellent service & cozy . Will definitely be back to try more dishes.
We came here for lunch & what a wonderful discovery for us even though we learned from the gentleman who served us that they've been in business for 20 years. The restaurant is small but is well decorated. We like that they serve both sushi & Korean dishes. We ordered the 40-piece sushi combo plus the Soondubu Jigae, which would normally be too much for 2 people but we were very hungry. The sushi was fresh & delicious. The Soondubu Jigae was flavourful & we really enjoyed the side dishes, especially the fish cake. We appreciated the attentive & friendly service. Will definitely return to try the bibimbap & to have more sushi.
Fantastic food, warm & friendly service, I believe it is family owned, cute spot with a few tables inside, otherwise there is a takeout option. We had the sushi platter, bibimbap & miso soup, all delicious.
Stop here for a quick lunch . Very good food The restaurant is small But the sushi is really good & also the other dishes are awesome. Price is correct . If you are in the area, you should honkers

This restaurant is absolutely amazing, one of the best I've ever visited. The service is excellent & fast. Everything was incredibly delicious & fresh. I'm in love with their miso soup & tea!
Un tout petit resto mais l'endroit est super mignon. Les sushis sont délicieux. On a pris des commandes pour emporter à quelques reprises & chaque fois c'était aussi bon. Le personnel est aussi très sympathique
