À mon avis, l'une des meilleurs tables de Montreal sans chi-chi. Dans la simplicité, les arômes, la recherche de saveurs, le service extrordinaire. J'ai été charmé du début à la fin & j'ai maintenant envie de visiter les pays méditerranéens. L'entrée de délice pour 2, les paella fruits de mer, l'agneau & les desserts sont juste incroyable. Je ne crois pas que ce resto est abordable pour tous mais il faut y aller au moin une fois dans sa vie !
5 of us from Texas took the metro to Menthe & Couscous on a Monday night for dinner. We had waited until late morning to make reservations so we got 8pm. The restaurant was full & very busy on our arrival but we were promptly seated & our service started. The appetizers selections are large & made to share & selections of the mains were also very wide ranging. This restaurant is almost a destination restaurant. The food was perfect & the service was very good. Do not be in a hurry they spread the food out for all to enjoy & it kept coming for two hours. The desserts were also the hit of the evening.
Menthe & Couscous is known as one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Montreal. It is a byob too so if you see it more of an expensive option you need to consider the fact that you do not pay for drinks & you bring them with you.
What a wonderful experience here tonight at Menthe & Couscous. From the moment we stepped in we were made to feel welcomed & accommodated. By reviewing the vast menu of traditional & somewhat fusion Mediterranean foods, your server guides you well to ensure you are ordering just the right amount of food. We started with the salad M & C. After we opted for the royal couscous for 2 which was absolutely delicious & perfectly prepared. Be prepared for a somewhat expensive dining experience, however the service & quality justify the cost as this is a special occasion kind of location. I will be back as I really enjoyed.
From start to finish this was one of the best meals ever. We had a table near the kitchen which was so much fun to see all the meals whizzing by. GM Rachel has her act together as staff delivers a five-star experience from being seated to leaving. Service was incredible but the freshness of our whole meal was exceptional. Loved how staff carefully explained what menu items. Cannot wait to return. À bientôt

I think this was the best food I've ever had. I've been to a lot of different kinds of restaurant, but I really think this was the best food I've ever had in terms of food, service & value for money of what they offer. The service was great & the food was incredible, very tasty & flavorful. I can't say enough good things! If you're ever in the area, definitely a must try!! Don't miss out, you won't be disappointed!
I ate with a large group of colleagues & we had an amazing meal with multiple courses. The service started a bit slow & we waited a long time before our first course but afterwards there was a lot of delicious food & lots of it. The highlight for me was the lamb shank tajine & the seafood paella. The restaurant is on the pricy side but worth every penny.
The food was terrific. The servers described each dish when they brought it to the table. Ambiance is very nice. I'd not a huge lover of couscous & tajine, but this was great.

Mediterranean food & expensive but worth every penny. Beautiful ambiance, great service. Everything on the menu is excellent, I bring clients, visitors & go for birthdays. Go hungry, it's a meal to look forward to.
Really nice restaurant. Nice touch with the decor. Mediterranean inspired. Food is really good, with a fusion touch. We took the group royal Menu. Nice variety & taste. The spices used are typical to the Mediterranean region. You will eat well, not stuffed. Reservation is a must, especially if you are a big group.
The food is full of complex flavors, absolutely delicious, & expertly executed. Byob. Great decor, lots of ambiance & very good service. Best to go as a group since the portions are rather big & sharing plates allows for tasting many different dishes. Bring your appetite. We will definitely go back.

Awesome experience. Had reservations at 8 pm were a bit early & had no problem being seated. Restaurant was very busy but it didn't take away from a great experience. We were served by Rachel & I can say she might be one of the best servers I have encountered. I am also in the business for 18 yrs & was inspired by her knowledge of every detail. My spouse had been trying to take me there for a while now & I can say I was impressed. Also I rarely write a review but this time I had to take the time to do so.Thank as well to the hospitality from the minute we walked in till we departed.
My spouse & I had heard about this restaurant for a few years. Finally when the opportunity presented itself & we found ourselves in Montreal we planned ahead & booked this restaurant. Advance reservations highly recommended! The restaurant is fairly large with a bustling wait staff. The restaurant is decorated with Mediterranean & Middle Eastern lanterns & motifs. Our server was very energetic & the restaurant was very accommodating to modify the tasting menu per our dietary restriction. The tasting menu was highly recommended since the menu is quite expansive. The food came to our table promptly & was beautifully plated. The menu is on the pricier side but well worth it for special occasions.
An understated & beautiful restaurant located in the quartier latin. The weather that evening was lovely & so we chose to sit in the outdoor terrace area. Even though the restaurant was completely full we felt like the entire evening/dinner was an intimate experience. We started with the tomato soup, literally one of the finest soups ever. Followed with the four appetisers plate, was outstanding with vibrant & unique flavors without being overpowering. Salad M & C was amazing. The shank of lamb was perfect with couscous & vegetables. We had a beautiful bottle of wine to go along with the meal. The service & staff in general was tremendous with just the right amount of conversation & privacy. I have to say that this was one of the finest dining experiences I have had, ever. If you are a foodie, then Menthe & Couscous is a must if visiting Montreal
We had some expectations & they were more than fulfilled. The place was packed, after telling the hostess that we had an anniversary she was quick to get us a better table. We had the tasting menu & it was simply fantastic, even the seafood tajine was heavenly. Highly recommended, great service, good atmosphere & fantastic food.
There were no false notes in our meal. None. We had the appetisers plate to share -- so fabulous, & a chicken tajine that was also amazing. All the starters were also delicious. I don't think you can go wrong there. Great service, great food, great night!
